So pleased we have our mam is this home. The staff are excellent, very attentive to Mam's needs. She seems very happy here and calls everyone her friends. To have your elderly parent in any home can be very distressing, but it's good to know she is in good hands.

Sadly, my amazing, wonderful mum, who suffers from advanced dementia, last summer took a nasty fall and fractured her left femur. Needing 24-hour care, she had to go into care. Following a second fracture femur and with all the trauma... fractures, no longer able to live in her home and needing 24-hour care... Mum was in a terrible state. A decision was made, after much thought and discussion and research, to move Mum to St Clare's to be near myself, her youngest daughter. A huge decision. I felt so very anxious in case I’d made a wrong choice and put Mum through even more trauma with such a big move. But I had a gut feeling that it was the right thing to do for so many reasons. And how happy I am to have made the decision I did. Mum is cared for, safe, smiling and laughing again, eating well and seems settled and happy. Not scared or lonely anymore. St Clare's is everything I could have ever hoped for Mum. The staff genuinely care. They are kind, gentle and professional. An absolute blessing!

My mum has only been in St Clare's for a few weeks, having moved from her previous care home and hospital in Yorkshire. Mum has vascular dementia and has had a very upsetting and confusing few months prior to her move to St Clare's. The care and compassion Mum has received since moving to St Clare's have been wonderful. She is now very happy, well looked after, settled and mostly extremely cheerful. My sister and I have also been fully supported and looked after by the management and whole team during the very difficult move from Yorkshire. So much thanks and gratitude to all.

After so long without being able to visit Mam, I can only praise St Claire’s at how professional and caring they have been while face to face visiting has been reinstated.
All staff wear full PPE, administer a lateral flow test with courtesy and request extensive information to allow, on a negative test result, a visit indoors in a designated visitors room.

Thank you all for ensuring Mam is given the best care and attention.

My mum has been at St Clare's for nearly three years now, and I have been very pleased with the care that she’s received. The staff have always been very helpful.

We really appreciate all that they’ve done, especially during the last year while coping with Covid.

Mum joined St Clare's as England was in and out of lockdowns. I have not been able to visit mum yet due to local and national covid restrictions. However, from day one, St Clare's have been fantastic. They arranged a video call in the first couple of days and have accommodated my zoom calls each week ever since.
The staff are so kind and fill me in on mums progress. It's never a bother when I call for a chat.
Mum always looks great. It's a pleasure to see her looking like mum always did, hair done, her favourite skirts and twinsets and her lippy!

I know she's settled and cared for so well. Thanks to all.

My dad moved into St Clare's in November 2019 and since then has been treated with the utmost kindness by all of the staff and has received excellent care to enable him to settle into his new home. From day one staff were able to cater for his dietary needs (gluten-free). The chef spoke to both my dad and I regarding his food preferences and he has put on (much needed) weight since his admission. Sadly visiting is currently restricted due to the Coronavirus, however, we have been kept up to date regularly on my dad's health and antics and more recently we have been able to enjoy family video calls with him, much needed and greatly appreciated and reassuring!
Dad has dementia and the staff have encouraged and enabled him to join in lots of different activities, both in and out of the home and they look forward to his wee dog visiting as much as he does.

As a family, we are delighted with the excellent facilities in the home, how well Dad has settled in and we can see how well looked after and loved he is - thank you!

A first-class care home. Staff are very friendly and professional and always approachable. Feedback is given when requested and they look after residents like they were one of their own family members. All staff are very caring and compassionate. We are over the moon with dad's progress - he loves living here. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Couldn't fault it.

I am continually impressed with the understanding and care shown by all staff of my husband's complex condition. During his moments of anxiety he is shown kindness and reassurance by everyone.

St Clare's Court is an exceptionally well-run establishment, with very high standards. The manager runs a 'tight ship' and is approachable, efficient and proactive, from this relative's point of view.

Both of my parents moved up 200 miles to be near myself. The management team were a great help with the move. My parents are cared for very well. All of the staff are well trained, compassionate, caring and fully aware of all residents needs.
The only small criticism I have is due to how busy all the staff are and I found it very difficult to find a manager to ask questions.

That said I cannot recommend highly enough the care and high standards this home offers.

Welcoming, very high standards of cleanliness. Staff were exceptional, going out of their way to assist in any way possible. A much more relaxed feeling than other homes, staff are very well trained, that really matters given the multitude of variety in residents needs. A very caring environment. Thank you all.

Through the transition of putting mam into St Clare's, was hard enough, but the staff helped Mam and us to get through and make this move as smooth as possible. Mam has been made to feel great through all of this which is our priority and there's. You're all fabulous St Clare's.
