My Uncle spent his final weeks at this fantastic care home. As his only living relative it was s hard to choose a care home for him. The moment that I entered Stratton Court i knew that this was where he would choose to be. The building itself is beautiful but the care and compassion that he was shown right up until his final days was truly outstanding and i cannot thank the wonderful enough. I cannot highly recommend this home. Thank you Stratton Court court from the bottom of my heart
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are truly honoured to have been able to look after him and support you during such an important time. Your feedback will be shared with the team, and we are very grateful you took the time to write this.
I came to Stratton Court for rehab and had some amazing therapy sessions here. Everybody's lovely!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are so glad you enjoyed your rehab stay with us.
Please reach out if we can assist further
A good friend had a respite stay at Stratton Court Care Home. From the start she was made to feel welcome and part of the community who lived there. The food was excellent and it was lovely to be able to enjoy meals together in their restaurant. There were also many different activities to enjoy on a daily basis. The staff were always on hand and willing and able to assist.
We are so glad your friend enjoyed their respite stay with us. We will pass your kind words onto the team.
We recently placed my grandmother at Stratton Court Care Home in Cirencester for a short one week stay, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the excellent facilities and the beautiful, thoughtfully designed interiors, which feel far more like a welcoming home than a care setting.
All of the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make sure my grandmother felt comfortable, settled, and well looked after throughout her stay. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their warmth and reassurance made a huge difference.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely review. Your kind words really do mean a lot and we'll be sure to pass them on to the team. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if we can ever help with anything at all.
We have found the staff very friendly and welcoming. It's They take time to spend with us when we visit our father. He's been very happy and has settled in well. the care home is warm clean and tidy. We feel that he's well looked after - always clean and fresh when we visit. the good looks and smells great. Dad really enjoys his food.
The management team are very approachable and have responded quickly when answering any questions we have had.
We are so happy Dads settled in so well! we will pass your kind words onto the team!
Staff were attentive and cleanliness was good. He will probably go for another break next month again
I would certainly recommend Stratton as having visited other places in Glos , this topped them all.
Thank you for your kind words, we are so happy Dad enjoyed his respite stay! Please do reach out if we can assist further!
My husband came in as an emergency and was made to feel welcome and cared for by all the staff.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We're genuinely proud of the care team here at Stratton Court, and we'll make sure your kind words are shared with them.
I spent 2 weeks after having a hip replacement. I found everybody (staff) very kind and helpful. If I needed it again, I would not hesitate in coming again. Activities at the time I stayed were very good.
Thank you for taking the time to reply - we really appreciate your kind words. We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if we can help with anything at all in the future.
It is distressing enough to move a loved one into a care home. We deeply regret picking this one. My father has endured shocking levels of neglect. There are so many things wrong, it is difficult to know where to start. Despite lodging repeated concerns with the staff and management, we have seen no improvements in his care.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We were surprised to read your review, particularly as our experience working with your Dad was positive and his overall presentation and wellbeing improved as time went on.
Our team built a good relationship with him and worked closely to...
Lovely care home with friendly, caring staff. Mum has been so happy since coming here.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. its wonderful to hear that mum is so happy in our lovely Home.
Stratton court looked after my father for a short time , he desperately wanted to go back to the Town he lived all his life so sadly we had to move him , the care he had was second to none , he was treated with love and respect by all concerned and i couldn't thank them enough
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, Thank you so much for your kind words. We're absolutely delighted to hear that dad enjoyed his stay with us.
Always there are numerous excuses.
Many times she has been left soaking wet and led in her own faeces'!
She has asked numerous times for her food not to be chopped up as thankfully unlike a lot of people in the home she is not suffering with dementia and she has capacity to speak she also has use of her arms and hands so can chop food up without any problem or assistance
It feels that because she is a "social" paying resident the care just is not there for her
I am very impressed with the home it has a high standard I would be happy to be a resident.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We look forward to welcoming you back for visit soon!
We found ourselves in a situation that we needed more care and to be nearer family Stratton Court fulfilled our needs and the staff are 1st class I would highly recommend it to others.
Thank you for your lovely words and taking the time to write a review ! We're so pleased you found our staff first Class, we will pass these comments on to the team. Its wonderful to hear you had a positive experience in our lovely Home.
Messages re planned visit not passed to patient or son, nor apparently to floor staff. No evidence of friendly, caring (in true sense) staff attending during visit, nurse either on computer or absent from post. Patient suffering Aphasia wrote 'They removed my bell, also no one here cares'. How could help/pain relief/position change etc be summoned? Personal care immediately prior to my arrival but nails unhygienic, truly filthy. I concur with CQC 2023 'Requires improvement'.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We take your feedback very seriously. We understand the situation you described and the impact it has had on you. If you wish to discuss this further, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly. Were happy to explain what was happening at the...
My mother became a permanent resident in July 2025 after having a trial respite break. The care home has exceeded our expectations. The home is spotlessly clean with beautiful decor in all rooms. The food is excellent. All the staff have been outstanding from the management to nursing staff, care staff, receptionists, maintenance staff, support staff & hairdressers. Everyone has been friendly, caring and supportive. My mother has settled quickly and is very happy. Our family are confident that she will be well cared for at a vulnerable time of life.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We're truly grateful to hear that your mother has settled in well and that you and your family feel confident in the care she's receiving. It means a great deal to the whole team to know their efforts are making a difference.
My friend was obviously very thin and ill and frantically trying to speak but no sound came out.
i quickly worked out that she could write and was perfectly " with it ".
She had no bell and could not shout out. She wrote No one her cares.
Her huge Tv was on loud but not visible from the position she was in.
She wrote " Wimbledon" She knew it was on. she loved tennis.
She was very distressed and isolated.
The staff did not seem interested . She died the next day
Thank you for sharing your experience and please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your friend. Your feedback is valued and we take it very seriously. Your friend was very unwell, however we acknowledge the situation you described and the impact it must have had on you. If you would...
I have very much enjoyed my weeks of respite care. Without exception, the staff have been excellent, so helpful, and friendly. They create a very happy atmosphere. I shall leave with plans to return for another visit.

The food was very good and catered for most tastes it seemed.
It was nice to be able to meet visitors in the reception area downstairs.

It's wonderful to hear our staff's care and reassurance made a positive difference to you. We're also glad you enjoyed the food and found the reception area welcoming for visitors.
