My sister has lived at The Mayfair since 2020. She lived in other care homes beforehand, The Mayfair is by far the best. All the staff are second to none in their commitment and care for the residents ensuring that their needs are individually met and respected. There is a real sense of community and inclusion. During all my visits, that are usually unannounced, my sister, whose mental and physical needs are complex is always well looked after. I notice that the other residents who present with a variety of needs are treated with dignity and the staff obviously know & understand them all well. The lines of communication with families are always open, visits and feedback are welcome at any time and family involvement is encouraged. Beatrice and Emelyn are exceptional, Cassius enriches residents quality of life with e.g. gardening, keep fit, live music and cultural events and Regina is highly skilled, hugely personable and runs a tight ship. I couldn't be more grateful

Doesn't matter what time of day I visit and if I arrive unannounced, my cousin is clean, the room sparkling and the staff very welcoming.

What stands out is how the team encourages him to take part and feel valued. He was recently named Resident of the Month, which meant the world to him and to us - a lovely reflection of the care and attention he gets every day. The activities team in particular go the extra mile to keep residents engaged and included.
We are kept informed, always made welcome when we visit, and any question is answered kindly and promptly. To everyone at Vicarage Farm - thank you for looking after Jas so well. We are truly grateful.

My sister has been at the home for many years and I believe her quality of life has very much improved since being at the Mayfair. The staff are wonderfully patient and upbeat and provide not only essential physical care services but also work very hard to improve the social life of the residents but also respectful of the need for privacy and alone time. They are very concerned with resident's mental well-being and residents have access to numerous activities every week and there are many occasions to learn new things and be creative. My sister is very ill and has many needs and the staff do everything they can to bring some joy to her life.

The residents are always clean, calm and dignified situation during my visits and some of them join in our singing "Give me joy in my heart". As I always told the staff it takes a noble heart to do what they are doing because I find they carry out their duties with so much heartfelt love. Peace and joy are always around them and the residents.
On behalf of our Management Team - we would like to say thank you for your kind words - always appreciated.

My experience at the care home is great. The carers are very nice and friendly. The food is very nice. Activities are enjoyable. I get to make choices of things I like. Very clean and tidy place. I would recommend it to anyone else. Thank you.
On the times I've visited my partner, over about a year, I've found The Mayfair very organised and welcoming. The staff and residents are relaxed and friendly. Staff are aware when anyone becomes ill and react appropriately to take care of residents. The Mayfair seems a very good place to be a resident or service user. I feel my partner is well looked after and cared for at The Mayfair.

My arrival at The Mayfair was rather confusing and overwhelming but after a while, I started feeling more welcomed. I never felt stifled at all and as time went by, things got better because of the regular support of staff members and others. So far, I feel like a part of a family and I am grateful to The Mayfair team. I have been encouraged to do things I like and have taken part in activities which include gardening, cooking, physical activities like yoga, chair exercises and going to the gym. During summer, we were entertained in the garden and had barbecues and games which were enjoyable and sociable.
Many thanks for the lovely feedback. Zena Chan, Operations Director
The Mayfair care home's services are extremely super. I am very delighted and feel very good about the situation and conditions for my son. They look after my son very well and the caregivers are all excellent.
Extremely happy with the care given to my brother. It is a very well run home and care is wonderful for all the residents.
Dear Irene, many thanks for your wonderful review, always appreciated. Zena Chan, Operations Director.
My wife has been at The Mayfair for about 11 months. She has a lovely room which has an ensuite shower. The security is of a high standard and safe. The home has dealt with any concerns myself or her family has had. They have provided an Epilepsy alarm. Also when my wife stopped eating normal food they were adaptable and even brought a toaster. I feel we have developed a good partnership to provide the best for my wife in very difficult times with COVID and I get regular emails. Activities and events are great.
Excellent care given to my brother. He always looked clean and they looked after his needs.
