Primrose Nursing Home is a credit to the profession. The staff treat the residents as individuals and are caring. Everyone is treated the same. The staff always make us relatives welcome and treat us if we are family. Well to to you all.

I pop in to see my dad most days. As soon as you walk in, there is a homely feel. All the carers are very professional with their safety standards and fantastic with the residents. Nothing seems too much for them, always offering to help. They also join in with the many activities that go on both inside the home and the weekly outings that residents look forward to. The location is fantastic, a stone's throw away from the coffee shops and ice bars that residents can enjoy, mind you with such an excellent chef there's no need to eat out ! I'm so much more relaxed now knowing my dad is in good hands! Thank you, everyone at Poplars!

She is well looked after and the staff go above and beyond in their care for her. Tracking down and purchasing equipment that is suitable for her needs ,is just once incident among many that in my opinion makes them an outstanding home.

We have been very happy with Poplars. They have provided a safe and caring environment for Dad. We are confident that he will continue to be safe and happy here as long as he needs to be here.

Frendly welcoming stuff always tell you if there is a problum Mum Happy she have bwen here for fives months as of writing the food alwys look amazing rooms are very clen and tidy the care home over all is amazing

Everybody seemed to enjoy them selves which is great a testament to everyone involved.

I genuinely can't single out one member of staff as when I think about it, I'd have to write a review for them all. Thank you Sam and all your team at Poplars (including new puppy Mash who is a new firm favourite) for being so brilliant and always going above and beyond.

The fantastic staff at Poplars Care Home are genuinely involved with their residents. They become their friends and always show love and attention. The home overall and the residents rooms are kept bright and clean. The garden is colourful and inviting. There are plenty of activities at the home and many outside visits. I could not ask for more for the care and safety of my sister.

Attended the recent summer bbq.Food and live music were very good.The staff worked hard ensuring that both residents and guests were well looked after.It was good to see residents and staff dancing enjoying the nice weather.

Attended the bbq on 8th August. Had a lovely time. The residents looked like they were having a great time. Music was great. Carers really got involved. Lots of nice food. Even got up and had a dance.

The above is based on my experiences over the past four years. I think this home is brilliantly run.

Alzheimer's causes the saddest of situations, but in the circumstances we are fortunate that she is in Primrose House. She is in good hands and I can't thank them enough.

This visit was my Dad's second stay for respite care at Poplars Care Home. The staff are all so welcoming, friendly and caring. Having spent 2 weeks at Poplars earlier in the year, my family knew that he would be very well looked after. We were pleased to see that he was happy to engage in daily exercises and activities and that he looked very smart. That was always so important to my Dad! The 2 week break gave him the opportunity to be stimulated by different surroundings and for my Mum to take a break from his care. We will probably need to arrange respite care again in a few months and we will not hesitate to contact Poplars when the time comes.

The staff/management have always communicated very well with me about my mother's welfare.

The staff are all truly caring and so hard working. My dad seems happy .my dad needs a one.to one as he is prone to falling and unpredictability with his behaviours with his condition. I think this care is amazing , given the fact there are another 26 residents.

Attention to detail is fantastic.

Abbotsford is a good place, perhaps with a little improvement it will become a great place.
