My mother has been at Swn y Mor for almost a year now and I can't praise the staff highly enough for all the care & attention my mother receives. She has no mobility so needs almost everything done for her. All her care needs are taken care of in an empathetic & dignified way. She really enjoys the bingo sessions every week and the church services. It really does deserve the great reputation it has in the Port Talbot area.

My mother has lived at Swy Y Mor for 18 months. My wife has worked in several homes in Dorset, for many years, and she has never, ever come across such a wonderful home as this one. My mother has MS. She is always clean and tidy. She has a great deal of stimulation eg trips, entertainment, activities, games and special functions. It is amazing. The home is very clean and smell free. The staff are amazing and extremely caring. My wife and I would live there ourselves. 10 out of 10.

The home is extremely well run the standard is set and maintained by the managers and all staff adhere to it. The home is clean and the staff are friendly and caring.

I am completely satisfied with the standard of care my mother is receiving; she is treated with dignity, and all aspects of her care are performed to a high standard. Excellent laundry service, the person in the laundry deserves a special mention, she goes above and beyond, she irons new garments before placing them in the wardrobe, and she is a huge asset to the care centre. My mother's room has commanding views of Swansea Bay and is spotlessly clean, so is the entire building.

I am overseas so it is hard to contact my uncle all the time due to time difference but the staff are very helpful in emailing me weekly and keeping me up to date with any health issues. I find them very welcoming and warm.

The one tiny improvement I could suggest would be to provide occasional weekend activities.

All of the staff were very empathetic and have shown great kindness to me, aiding my recovery.

I cannot praise the staff enough at Swn-y-Mor. Their professionalism in the way they care for our mum has been outstanding. They stay in touch when needed to inform us of our mum's care and nothing is too much trouble for them. I highly recommend this care home, the members of staff are caring, warm and treat everyone with dignity and respect.

My mother has been a resident at Swn-y-Mor for the last eight and a half years. She wanted to come to Swn-y-Mor when she was ready to go into a care home. She has been very happy there and used to be able to take part in a lot of the musical entertainment that the home puts on. All the staff are very caring towards her, especially now as she is not in the best of health. We receive a warm welcome from management and caring staff when we visit.

My relative went into swn y mor in mid February towards end of life care the staff were absolutely fantastic to him from the cleaners to the managers they also took the time to ask if we were ok we were offered refreshments every day when the time came I spent whole days there and everyone was very respectful and kind when my relative passed they had put flowers and a bible open at the 23rd psalm the two nurses assigned to him were absolutely wonderful kind and caring feeding him his medication of a little spoon one at a time so he could manage to swallow them I'd give them a hundred stars if I could if you have a relative lucky enough to be offered a place grab it with both hands places like this are rare we were so lucky to have them x

My grandfather is a resident and is treated amazingly. Me and my family could not be happier for him and are grateful for the care he is receiving. 10/10 would stick my parents there when they get old enough.

I cannot praise the staff and carers enough for the nursing care they provided for my uncle in the last days of his battle with cancer. The facilities provide are cheerful and happy and the staff are wonderful. They provided compassionate support at a difficult challenging time and my family and I are very grateful that they were able to provide my uncle with a safe, comfortable and peaceful passing.

My mother has been in Swn-y-Mor for nearly 3 years. She has settled in well and has made a lot of new friends. The staff are really caring and look after her really well. She enjoys the entertainment every week, which is varied. The care home is very clean and her room is comfortable and very pleasant.

I think the staff are marvelous. Nothing is to much trouble for them. There is always something going on for the residents. Chinese new year, bingo, singer my sister in law took a while to adjust but now she likes it there.

My mother has no complaints about her care and her health needs have been dealt with properly. She is delighted that she can have abath whrn she wants. A hospital bed has been provided and a wheelchair as a result of staff contact with NHS.

The care my father is receiving is out standing, the staff are amazing and have time for him, for the first time in years he is able to get out of bed daily with the carers support, when he has been ill it has been picked up quickly and medicine received. I wish he had moved in sooner

Our mother passed away peacefully in Nursing care at Swn y Mor in December after a long stay at Swn y Mor. At all stages of her time there she was superbly looked after and her needs well supported. The environment is outstanding, the residents rooms are lovely. Cleanliness is outstanding and the food is excellent. The standard of care cannot be faulted, staff are cheerful, pleasant, personable and excellent at they do, leadership is effective and leaders are visible and accessible. When our mother was able to participate, she hugely enjoyed the activities offered to residents which are led by an outstanding entertainment manager who works especially hard to include residents.

The events organiser has put on two superb birthday parties for her at 95 and 96 when many of her friends attended and commented on how well it was presented.

Location is great especially for chair bound residents as you have direct access to the promenade and beach.
