I cannot praise enough the care and the kindness my Mum received at Springfields.
The home is in beautiful grounds with peacocks and wildlife that Mum could see from her windows. The food was all homemade and delicious with a choice too. They made my Mums final day's much easier and comfortable with
their kindness and care. They were also very supportive to me at this very sad and difficult time.

Dad was confined to bed but loved the garden views and the peacocks and wild animals. He was very grateful for the care he was given as we were. The staff went above and beyond and we felt a real sense of family love from them. The food was great too. In the last days the whole family were so well looked
after with such compassion we couldn't have asked for more (including the dog).

My mother went in to the home for 4 weeks whilst I was abroad. I was nervous as to how she would settle and as to whether she would continue to improve following a fall in late 2024. She enjoyed her time in Springfields and her mobility and eating improved a great deal. I was surprised when I went to
collect her how much she has improved with the help of the staff and our physio. All the staff I met were friendly and caring which I appreciated.

My mother went into Springfield's for respite after coming out of hospital. She loved it so much she asked to move there permanently, they have supported her and our transition making it easy . She has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the carehome helped us all throughout this time .

My Dad spent 14 months in Springfields Residential Home and he loved every minute! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness and big smiles from all the staff and you could sense immediately it was a happy, caring and relaxed place to be. The staff are all exceptional,
unique and invaluable and went above and beyond to ensure Dad was settled and happy. They always showed kindness, patience and diligence which made Dad's life extra special and he felt loved by them all!
Dad was always treated with dignity and respect and allowed his independence. The home was clean and tidy, both inside and out; the gardens were immaculate. The food was fantastic; Dad went up three waist sizes in trousers while he was there! As family, we were always treated with warmth and kindness; always an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on and a cup of tea! I would strongly recommend Springfields Residential Home. It's an extra special place with a team in a million!

Beautiful building , feels very much like home. All the communal areas are welcoming and other residents always seem very happy and enjoy a chat. Gardens are incredible , immaculately kept with the added bonus of a peacock or two to entertain the grandchildren. Our family member has been a resident
for over four years and has received outstanding care throughout. There are organised activities available daily should they wish to take part but never any pressure. A significant birthday was celebrated with a party generously organised by Springfields . The staff are genuinely kind , caring and will always make time for him and to chat with us when we visit. Basically , can't fault them they're a fabulous team and should either my husband or I need residential care Springfields would be our first choice. Our one word description would be outstanding.

I cannot express how glad I am that Dad spent his last ten months in Springfields. He received the best of care in beautiful surroundings. He was always treated with real respect. The staff were very kind and preserved his dignity always. More than that, at the end of his life he was surrounded by love!

My Dad was a resident at Springfields for 2 years where he sadly passed away. During this time he was always treated with care and compassion. The staff were always lovely and helpful. Dad was bed bound, he was always clean and said he was comfortable. The meals were cooked fresh daily and Dad said
there was never anything he didn't like. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely place to anyone needing care of any description. Such good peace of mind knowing he received great care whilst there.

My dad was a resident at Springfields for approximately a year. He sadly passed the beginning of August 2024.
I cannot praise the staff enough and the level of care my dad was given during his time at Springfields. All staff were kind, compassionate and respectful. Very supportive of us as a family,
very approachable and always there to help. Springfields couldn't have done any more for my dad or us as a family.
5 stars for Springfields, would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Springfields looked after my mother until her death, she was treated with kindness, compassion, empathy and respect, for the last few hours we stayed with Mum and the staff cared for her and us. My father was admitted to Springfields in December 2022 on discharge from hospital. At that time the prognosis was not good, but the excellent care provided by the nursing and care team at Springfields resulted in my father recovering to the extent that he enjoyed another 21 months of good quality life
before he passed away recently. Springfields is set in lovely grounds and the facilities are excellent and I cannot speak highly enough of the environment and the people who work there. I would highly recommend Springfields to anyone who has an elderly relative requiring more care and support than can reasonably be provided in their own home. The care sector in the UK generally gets a bad press these days, but Springfields is proof that there are places that really do make a difference to the lives of elderly people who need and deserve high quality care in their later years and I will always be grateful to all of the team at Springfields for what they did for my father.

Myself and my family cannot express enough, our thanks and gratitude for the wonderful care our Mother has received. The way they have cared for Mum, with respect and dignity has been outstanding. I am not sure my words can do Springfields Nursing Home and, more importantly, the nurses/carers justice.
My mum had terminal cancer and was taken into Springfields Nursing Home on the 13th of March after a short spell in the hospital.
I was worried that because it was a direct placement via the NHS
that the care might not be at the level I wished for. But I had nothing to worry about. Right from the start, it was clear that all the people that work there are a) experienced and b), more importantly, they genuinely care (a lot).
The manager and her team were incredible. I would go in twice a day for 3-5 hours and try to be there for meal times so I could assist. But nothing was ever too much trouble. Regardless of how busy they were, they were always there to help and assist, even if it was just for advice. As an only son, they were also very sympathetic to the fact I was losing my mum (lost my dad two and a half years ago to cancer too).
