My Aunty Sylvia has been a resident at Adalah Care Home for around 18months, we changed homes as the one she was in before was pretty awful and the level of care was poor. Moving Sylvia to Adalah was such a positive step and as a family we are very happy with the home. Firstly the staff are warm and friendly, they are dedicated to the needs of their residents, they get to know them as individuals and the level of care is excellent. The rooms are always immaculate and the home itself is very clean, bright and cheery.. there's always something fun taking place! Karaoke, creative activities, trips out.. often just lovely music on to keep the residents calm and it gives a feeling of 'home' there's a lovely garden area which they can use. We appreciate all of the care that you give to Sylvia .. a big "Thankyou"

My dad John has been at the Adalah for four years now and he still loves being there.all the staff are so friendly and supportive they are all like family, my dad is always doing something like a bit of painting cleaning out the ducks and feeding them. They have a mini bus and some go out on trips. It is so nice we don't have to worry about his. The food is amazing and there are always baked cakes, my dad has made lots of cakes to such a lovely home.

There are plenty of activities and trips out if residents want to join in.

We feel blessed to have been welcomed into the Adalah family.

My dad was very well looked after throughout two and a half years at the Brambles. It's staffed by lovely people who really cared for my dad and who made my dad's last two and a half years there as happy as they could be. Everyone is warm and welcoming and the home is well run. Brambles has a homely feel to it, nurturing and caring. Processes and procedures are well adhered to and I was always well communicated with.

All the staff are amazing and I can't praise them all enough for making my mums last weeks happy, thankyou all so much

After our dad sadly passed away 5 years ago and who was mum 24hr caregiver we realistically knew that as a family we were unable to care for mums 24hr care needs.The Brambles was recommended to us by a friend and we haven't looked back! It really is a lovely care home, kind and caring and looking after mums needs in every way! As they say the proof is in the pudding and that is seeing her happy smiley face each time we visit. I'm sure dad is smiling too from above knowing how well mum is being cared for. Thank you Brambles!

My Mother receives a high-level of care given in a respectful, caring and dignified manner. Her room is comfortable and is kept clean and tidy, and she benefits from an excellent laundry service. She generally enjoys the food. Although she is registered blind and is hard of hearing, staff work hard to try and include her in all activities.

Our mother has been a resident at Brambles for over 2 years. The staff are respectful, supportive, patient, understanding and provide stimulating activities and trips out regularly. As a family, we have peace of mind that Mum is well cared for, content, happy and feels secure.

I have found the home has dealt with the resident I am POA for with care and attention. She has various health issues but once these have been acknowledged and understood they have devised a care package including diet to ensure she lives a happy and comfortable life with them.

Knowing our mum is safe and well cared for gives us as a family peace of mind and being able to visit her at anytime and being made welcome is a great comfort.

Adalah is a really lovely home there are far more luxurious homes but at Adalah the care is top rate and that is what is important. My husband has not always been the easiest resident but the care both he and l have been shown is loving and good. They go out of their way to do special things for residents and relatives. Last Valentine's Day all the married couples were treated to afternoon tea in a beautifully decorated room. The other residents didn't miss out they had the same afternoon tea but in another room. They bring in singers to entertain and quizzes and craft times for those who want to join in. Also they take residents out for lunch or breakfast from time to time. I have complete please of mind that my husband is well cared for and happy. He tells me this would be a nice place for me to come

Adalah looked after dad for approximately 10 months following a very difficult decision to move him into a care home. We were very fortunate to find Adalah. Dad was very comfortable there and the staff looked after him with care and compassion. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a comfort to know that he was so well looked after and that we could visit him at any time. Thank you for taking care of our beloved dad. The staff at Adalah are amazing.

Great home and fantastic team. The senior team listen are down to earth and approachable. Staff are honest, caring and committed. Medically trained and willing to go the extra mile. Activities are regular and fun. People go out to different restaurants, gardens. Family BBQ, fetes. Beautiful garden. Clean, tidy and secure. My dad lives here and I feel happy he is being looked after by staff who know what they are doing. The manager is the most honest, helpful and caring, understanding person. She changed our dad's life when she allowed him to live at Adalah and I'm forever grateful.

My wife was a resident at Adalah Care Home for seven months. She passed away on the 29th April this year, she had advanced dementia. During her time at Adalah she received wonderful care and love from all staff. I have nothing but praise for the care given to her during her final days and to the compassion and help provided to me and my family during this very difficult and painful time.

The staff at Adalah Rest home were all amazing and made dad feel so welcome when he arrived in April 25 sadly dad passed away june 25 and they were an amazing support and comfort during this difficult time. I would highly recommend The manager and her team they are truly wonderful and were like our extended family.

My mum is so happy there. Been to a few before, and I honestly have never seen her so sad and cried whenever I left. But Cameron House is amazing, it feels like your home. Wonderful staff, they chat to residents, look after them, and make them feel like they matter. My mum is so settled here now, eating well and putting on weight. Can't praise them enough.

We were blessed to decide on Adalah, after a weekend of viewings, to find that they had a room available . Dad moved in and settled very quickly as the staff made him and us very comfortable and welcome. Dad was there for 10 months during which time he was treated as if he was at home. Food, activities and medical necessities all catered for. We can't thank them or laud them highly enough.

My friends mum moved into Cameron house and the carers are lovely, friendly and very welcoming, it's clean , they have entertainment and my friends mum is happy which makes us happy, I would definitely say that Cameron house is one of the best care home in Basildon Essex

Following a recent stay in hospital Mum came out very poorly but within a couple of weeks she has picked up and is back to her usual self. It's all thanks to the staff and their great care.
