Overall Experience

Adalah is a really lovely home there are far more luxurious homes but at Adalah the care is top rate and that is what is important. My husband has not always been the easiest resident but the care both he and l have been shown is loving and good. They go out of their way to do special things for residents

and relatives. Last Valentine's Day all the married couples were treated to afternoon tea in a beautifully decorated room. The other residents didn't miss out they had the same afternoon tea but in another room. They bring in singers to entertain and quizzes and craft times for those who want to join in. Also they take residents out for lunch or breakfast from time to time. I have complete please of mind that my husband is well cared for and happy. He tells me this would be a nice place for me to come

Overall Experience

Adalah looked after dad for approximately 10 months following a very difficult decision to move him into a care home. We were very fortunate to find Adalah. Dad was very comfortable there and the staff looked after him with care and compassion. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a comfort to

know that he was so well looked after and that we could visit him at any time. Thank you for taking care of our beloved dad. The staff at Adalah are amazing.

Overall Experience

Great home and fantastic team. The senior team listen are down to earth and approachable. Staff are honest, caring and committed. Medically trained and willing to go the extra mile. Activities are regular and fun. People go out to different restaurants, gardens. Family BBQ, fetes. Beautiful garden.

Clean, tidy and secure. My dad lives here and I feel happy he is being looked after by staff who know what they are doing. The manager is the most honest, helpful and caring, understanding person. She changed our dad's life when she allowed him to live at Adalah and I'm forever grateful.

Overall Experience

My wife was a resident at Adalah Care Home for seven months. She passed away on the 29th April this year, she had advanced dementia. During her time at Adalah she received wonderful care and love from all staff. I have nothing but praise for the care given to her during her final days and to the compassion

and help provided to me and my family during this very difficult and painful time.

Overall Experience

The staff at Adalah Rest home were all amazing and made dad feel so welcome when he arrived in April 25 sadly dad passed away june 25 and they were an amazing support and comfort during this difficult time. I would highly recommend The manager and her team they are truly wonderful and were like our

extended family.

My mum is so happy there. Been to a few before, and I honestly have never seen her so sad and cried whenever I left. But Cameron House is amazing, it feels like your home. Wonderful staff, they chat to residents, look after them, and make them feel like they matter. My mum is so settled here now, eating

well and putting on weight. Can't praise them enough.

Overall Experience

We were blessed to decide on Adalah, after a weekend of viewings, to find that they had a room available . Dad moved in and settled very quickly as the staff made him and us very comfortable and welcome. Dad was there for 10 months during which time he was treated as if he was at home. Food, activities

and medical necessities all catered for. We can't thank them or laud them highly enough.

Overall Experience

My Mum moved into Cameron House in January 2025 after her dementia meant she wasn't safe living alone anymore. It was such a difficult decision but the Manager and staff at Cameron House made it so easy for me.
They are all caring, friendly and proactive. Nothing seems too much trouble. I feel very

lucky to have found such a great home for Mum and can relax knowing she is being well taken care of.
There are activities going on all the time and Mum is always encouraged to join in.
She eats well and most times when I visit is enjoying a cup of tea and biscuits.
Following a recent stay in hospital Mum came out very poorly but within a couple of weeks she has picked up and is back to her usual self. It's all thanks to the staff and their great care.

Overall Experience

Adalah looked after our nan following a very difficult decision to move her to a care home. Staff at Adalah were fantastic from the very beginning, nan took some time to settle however staff were amazingly patient with her and endeavoured to make her feel at home. Nan settled in well and enjoyed the

activities including the trips out as well for a nice lunch and a glass of wine. Staff were proactive when nan needed medical intervention and kept the family informed at all times. Nothing was too much trouble and it was ok to visit any time of the day. Nan had company every day, was happy and content, was treated with the utmost dignity and respect and when she sadly passed in November staff at Adalah were really wonderful and kind people who allowed our nan the dignity she truly deserved to the very end. Thank you for taking care of someone who was very very precious to us and thank you as a family for everything from the bottom of our hearts. You have an amazing team.

Overall Experience

My mum has been at Cameron House since June 2022 and whilst it was a massive change for Mum and the family. Home management and carers have helped Mum to settle in and helped me and my sister get used to and understand how Cameron House works for the residents. Working with them to ensure Mum's needs

are met has been a journey. But I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and understanding. The loving ways they have with my mum, I feel she is in safe hands.

Overall Experience

My mum has been a resident of Brambles Care Home for nearly three years. It is a very homely care home and is maintained very well inside and outside. The carers are very helpful, friendly and kind with my mum who has very limited mobility. She has a lovely room which is kept very fresh and clean. She

likes to sit in the conservatory which has lovely views of the sea and a nicely maintained garden. There are also activities and outings planned which the residents are able to enjoy. I can't speak highly enough of Brambles and the care my mum receives.

Overall Experience

My dad spent 8 months at Adalah after his dementia made it too difficult to cope with at home. Finding the right care home was so important and I cannot thank the staff at Adalah enough for ensuring this decision was the right one.
We instantly felt the staff understood dementia and would treat Dad

as best as his condition would allow. On day one Dad was made to feel that he had arrived at a holiday hotel and this stayed with him throughout.
Food, hygiene, entertainment, support and the level of caring from all staff are at such a high level.
It has to be one of the toughest industries to work in, but I cannot thank all who looked after Dad enough.

My mother is 96 years old and has been living at Brambles Care Home for over 3 years. She is very well looked after and as a family we cannot fault the care she is given. All the staff are friendly and show all the time how well they know mum and her needs.

Overall Experience

We have been connected to Brambles Care Home for nine years. The standard of care at Brambles is second to none. My mother has quite complex needs. The staff are very well attuned to less usual problems and individual needs.
Staff are courteous and welcoming to both residents and their family and friends.

We live at some distance from Leigh but have always been able to speak to staff by telephone and email. We are aware that the home has made many improvements over the years and applaud their ventures. The recent acquisition of the minibus has opened up many possibilities for those residents who enjoy the wider world.
Brambles is very much a place people can call home and is run along the lines of a small and very caring hotel.
We have never had a negative experience with staff. Everyone is kind and truly caring.
Everything is fresh and clean.

Overall Experience

From the moment I step through the door, I am welcomed by friendly staff; they are clean and tidy and there are no unpleasant odours, not only in the lounge but residents' rooms.
My mother can be difficult and irritable but she is only met with kindness and tolerance.
She requires aid with her toilet

and carers are always there to help.
Mother is always encouraged to join in exercises and crafting which she enjoys but can't always cope without assistance.
The kitchen staff try to accommodate her particular diet and always make it look appealing and appetising.
