This nursing home is a delight to deal with. Residents are well cared for, relatives feel well informed and trust that their loved ones are in the best place. I would highly recommend to everybody! The staff are truly wonderful and caring. I couldn't have been happier with our choice of nursing home.

My mum was a resident at Dorley House for 16 months. From the first day she arrived she was warmly welcomed by all the staff, which made her settle in very quickly. This gave us the re-assurance we needed knowing that she was being cared for in a safe and caring environment. I could not have wished
for more loving and caring staff to take care of mum. The care home was always very clean and tidy and the staff always treated the residence and visitors with the utmost respect and kindness. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home. I will forever be grateful for all the love, kindness and support they gave to my mum and myself.

The staff is wonderful. A very fresh, friendly, and positive vibe. All very helpful. The Manager made us feel at home and was very informative and most friendly, my father settled in very easily and quickly. We were able to prepare my father's room before he had arrived.. to make it cosy with memories
of the past .. such as photographs, his favorite chairs.. his clothing, books etc. it made him feel at home. They have plenty of activities on.. my dad says the food is good!! The home is bright, a lot of light, a lovely garden and sitting room.
I was pleasantly surprised.. so glad my father is there. .. Seeing that we live far away and can only visit every few weeks.. it's a great relief ! The home keeps us updated of everything which is also of great help.

The staff are very kind and very supportive of all the residents. They have been wonderful and kind to Mum since she came to Dorley House. They keep the residents entertained with lots of activities and visitors. They ensure all Mum's needs are met.

Mum was diagnosed in hospital as needing palliative care, with funded nursing care approval, we chose St Michael's. The staff were very welcoming, the Manager efficient in enabling mum to be transferred swiftly and settled into her own room. All the staff were helpful, kind and caring. The home is well

The team at Dorley House work very hard to create a warm, welcoming and happy environment. The building is old, but it is kept very clean. The staff are gentle, friendly and thoughtful. They have built a lovely relationship with my mum. Mum, after a respite stay, has asked to stay forever. She particularly
enjoys the lovely garden and the food. They have an outing each month, and all the facilities they might need are brought to them. Long may Dorley prosper. This is a really lovely home.

My mother spent her final three years at Dorley House. All the staff were caring and supportive. They are professional, knowledgeable but most of all kind. I am so thankful to everyone there for making mum's time with them special.

We chose this home for my father because of the positive, committed and caring attitude of the staff. St Michael's is kept very clean and the food, which is prepared on site, is very good. My father enjoyed taking part in the varied activities and made friends amongst the residents. He was very happy

The staff and care given to my husband is excellent couldn't wish for more. He took a while to settle but the staff have taken all the time and care for him to be settled. He now seems content and happy.

After my wife's 8-month residency, I have found St Michaels to be very professional including registered nursing. The staff are always helpful and well trained, and the food is good. The activities are excellently arranged by very warm personnel.

My husband has been in the home for 9 months. He has always been treated with care and respect. He had a few problems setting in but the staff supported us both through this transition.

Since mum arrived she has seemed very happy. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. They have made mum very welcome and when we visit we are greeted like old friends. The main room is bright and residents interact with each other well.

My Dad has been at St.Michael's for just over a year now and it has made such a difference to him. Previously he had got to a stage where he was no longer able to manage in his sheltered accommodation, even with family support and carers and after a spell in hospital it became clear he needed somewhere
with 24-hour care. After looking at different options and also trying another nursing home for a respite stay, we decided that St. Michael's may be a more suitable home for Dad. We had previously had a good experience when an Aunt had been there 3 years before.
Since Dad has been at St.Michael's his health has improved significantly. He is happy and content as he knows he is well looked after.
All of the staff are excellent and it is always reassuring that the staff remain the same, unlike some other homes that experience a quick turnover of staff.
Our family are very grateful for all the care that Dad is given, it has made such a difference to him and also to us.
