They have coped very well with my husband and he seems very well, settled and happy.

I have been very impressed and wholly satisfied with the care provided at St Michael's. My mother needed palliative care in her last few months, which she spent at St Michael's, and she was always attended to with compassion and professionalism to ensure that she was as comfortable as possible. I have found all the staff to be kind and helpful and easy to engage with. Food and drink were adapted for my mother's needs. St Michael's has a very friendly ethos; I felt welcome whenever I visited. The facilities are clean, bright and comfortable. Another bonus is that parking is easy, either in the small car park or on the street. Although my mum was not in a condition to enjoy the activities on offer, I could not have asked for any more for my mum in her last few months.

It is an amazing nursing home. The staff and management are always welcoming and professional. A hot drink is always ready for any visitors and the staff go out of their way to make the residents cared for and comfortable. The food is excellent and varied to suit all tastes. Beautifully kept rooms, communal areas and gardens. A delightful nursing home where care; I think, is second to none.

This nursing home is a delight to deal with. Residents are well cared for, relatives feel well informed and trust that their loved ones are in the best place. I would highly recommend to everybody! The staff are truly wonderful and caring. I couldn't have been happier with our choice of nursing home.

From the very first time I met a member of staff, my sister and I felt very welcome. All the staff are extremely kind and helpful. My sister feels very happy and secure here.

My mum was a resident at Dorley House for 16 months. From the first day she arrived she was warmly welcomed by all the staff, which made her settle in very quickly. This gave us the re-assurance we needed knowing that she was being cared for in a safe and caring environment. I could not have wished for more loving and caring staff to take care of mum. The care home was always very clean and tidy and the staff always treated the residence and visitors with the utmost respect and kindness. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home. I will forever be grateful for all the love, kindness and support they gave to my mum and myself.

It is a delightful welcoming nursing home - all the staff are very kind and caring and engage with the residents. The food is excellent and you are always offered a welcoming cup of tea. Thoroughly recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised.. so glad my father is there. .. Seeing that we live far away and can only visit every few weeks.. it's a great relief ! The home keeps us updated of everything which is also of great help.

The staff are very kind and very supportive of all the residents. They have been wonderful and kind to Mum since she came to Dorley House. They keep the residents entertained with lots of activities and visitors. They ensure all Mum's needs are met.

Mum was diagnosed in hospital as needing palliative care, with funded nursing care approval, we chose St Michael's. The staff were very welcoming, the Manager efficient in enabling mum to be transferred swiftly and settled into her own room. All the staff were helpful, kind and caring. The team at Dorley House work very hard to create a warm, welcoming and happy environment. The building is old, but it is kept very clean. The staff are gentle, friendly and thoughtful. They have built a lovely relationship with my mum. Mum, after a respite stay, has asked to stay forever. She particularly enjoys the lovely garden and the food. They have an outing each month, and all the facilities they might need are brought to them. Long may Dorley prosper. This is a really lovely home.

My mother spent her final three years at Dorley House. All the staff were caring and supportive. They are professional, knowledgeable but most of all kind. I am so thankful to everyone there for making mum's time with them special.

We chose this home for my father because of the positive, committed and caring attitude of the staff. St Michael's is kept very clean and the food, which is prepared on site, is very good. My father enjoyed taking part in the varied activities and made friends amongst the residents. He was very happy here.

Dorley House had a lovely friendly vib as soon as I entered with my dog. All residents seems happy, content and well catered for. We look forward to our next visit.

After my wife's 8-month residency, I have found St Michaels to be very professional including registered nursing. The staff are always helpful and well trained, and the food is good. The activities are excellently arranged by very warm personnel.
