My mum has been a resident in sebright house for 4 years now.
The team the management became my extended family since mums stay. The place is always spotless and clean . Mum always looks beautiful and very well looked after. There is a sense of comfort and friendliness in there . You don't think that
you enter the nursing home it's always like you walk into mums house . I am very very happy with the care and support they give me and my mum . The care is amazing. There is always someone to talk to .when I am sad they comfort me and when mum is unwell they look after her professionally. All together so happy and proud.

My mum was non verbal when she came to Wheatsheaf Court in June 2025.
On behalf of the whole family, we want to say a huge thank you to the team at Wheatsheaf Court. You didn't just care for her; you made her feel so deeply loved and cherished.
You understood her, you embraced her inner diva, and
you became a vital part of her story.
We will always be grateful for the love, kindness and dignity you gave her.

My Auntie was very well looked after at Wheatsheaf Nursing Home and although she couldn't really communicate with us (due to her Alzheimers) she seemed happy, safe and content here. The staff were friendly and efficient. Some nice activities and events were organised which my Auntie enjoyed joining
in with. I would recommend.

My wife has been in Hunters care Home since Novermber 2025, she is suffering from Alzheimer's disease, during this time she has been well looked after. She has her own bedroom, which includes a wardrobe and a chest of drawers as well as her bed and a nice comfortable chair.
The carers are all excellent,
caring and professional.
Although I wish my wife could be home, I have no worries about her being at Hunters Lodge Care centre Codsall.

I am grateful that my elderly mum was able to spend her final days at Wheatsheaf Court. The staff treated her with compassion and care. Spending time getting to know her and providing companionship. The standard of care was exceptional throughout, tailoring Mum's support to meet her needs and also discussing
these with myself. It was heartwarming to see how Mum interacted with the team throughout her short stay. I am happy that she spent her final days surrounded by such a caring team.
Reply from Nisha Thomas, Manager at Wheatsheaf Court Nursing HomeThank you for your kind and heartfelt review. We are deeply honoured that we were able to care for your mum during her final days.
It means so much to hear that you felt supported and that your mum was treated with compassion, dignity and kindness. Our team always strives to provide person-centred care, and we are touched to know that the relationships they built with your mum brought comfort to both her and your family.
Thank you for trusting us with your mum's care. Your words will mean a great deal to the whole team, who will remember her fondly.

The Spinney Care Home

from Cathy P (Friend of Resident) published on 14 April 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My friend and mum in law, a former palliative care worker, spent much of her last two years in The Spinney.
During that time she received excellent care, a custom-tailored diet as she was very particular about her food (oven chips with dinner meant she ate!) and made some very good friends.

It was a great relief to her, and us, that after being hospitalised with a bout of illness she was able to return 'home' to The Spinney for her last few days.
She nearly made it a extra full year on top of her original end of life prognosis. I believe that much of that extra time was due to the quality of the care she received and the company of the friends she made.
Reply from Sarah Murphy, Home Manager at The Spinney Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a great deal to the whole team to hear about your mother-in-law's experience at The Spinney.
We're so pleased we were able to support her in a way that felt personal and meaningful to her, and that she found comfort not only in the care provided but also in the friendships she made during her time with us.
It was an absolute privilege to care for her, and we're especially glad she was able to return to what she called home in her final days. Your words are greatly appreciated and will be shared with the team.

My husband spent a year in the carehome until his passing in January 2026. From the first day he was looked after as an individual, not just a resident. I found all the staff were kind and caring and treated him with respect. Visitors were made to feel welcome and were impressed by the care that he
received. I never arrived without being greeted with a smile and the support I needed. The staff do an amazing job in looking after people with varying needs,

My husband had been in the care of Seabright House for three years, until his death on Jan 26th this year. He was sent there for assessment when I became very ill after a serious operation. It had always been my intention to move him nearer to my home in Kineton, but it soon became apparent that the
care & kindness of all the staff at Seabright was outstanding, and that not only the residents were treated with care and respect, but their family & friends, were without exception made to feel welcome too & met with a friendly face by all the staff employed there . From the manager, nursing staff, entertainment officer gardener , cleaners, and everyone employed , their patience and dedication was beyond measure. The home was spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere usually calm, even though there were some difficult & demanding cases. Two long serving members of staff , who unfortunately must remain nameless, were truly exceptional in keeping up the spirits of residents & their families.

My mum came to Sebright in 2022 until she passed away in January 2025.
As a family, we have been so happy with everything in Sebright from the warm welcome to the cleanliness of the home, the food and activities but most importantly the professionalism and care that our mum received from everyone who
had a part to play in caring for her. We feel very lucky that Mum stayed in such an exceptional home towards the end of her life and we noticed how well she looked too.
We can't thank enough everyone who works here and am extremely grateful for the wonderful care she received. Thank you.

My Dad was admitted to Wheatsheaf Court in April 2024, after a prolonged stay in hospital. The family was concerned about how he might respond to permanent care in a nursing home, as he could be a difficult patient at times. We needn't have worried. We had a lengthy discussion with managers about his
current needs as well as his past likes, dislikes and hobbies and from day one he was treated with dignity and respect by all the staff. Everyone at Wheatsheaf Court understands the heartbreak of dementia and they are always willing to take the time to provide reassurance and care to the families as well as to the residents (this is so important, as families can find the stages of dementia as well as the care system itself bewildering at times). My Dad is comfortable and very well looked after and you couldn't wish for a cleaner, brighter, happier and more welcoming environment for someone who needs such a high level of care. Thank you to all.
Reply from Ravi Patel, CEO at Wheatsheaf Court Nursing HomeWe are absolutely thrilled to hear such wonderful feedback about your father's care at Wheatsheaf Court. My husband moved to Sebright from hospital in 2022, when his vascular dementia got the better of us all and we could no longer cope at home. The care he received there was second to none and all the staff treated him with compassion, calmness and care, looking after his every need at all times. They
always informed us of any change, however small, and kept him happy and settled throughout his time there. When he passed away in May 2024, they could not have been kinder. While dementia is a very cruel condition, all the staff at Sebright made my husband's last two years as good as they could possibly be. Thank you Sebright.

My father became part of the Wheatsheaf family in April 2024, from the moment my father arrived the staff and management went above and beyond to help my dad, myself and my family. The staff provided my dad with excellent care, kindness and compassion. They got him engaged in activities, they took time
to find his likes and dislikes and enabled him to participate in the things he liked most (darts and singing), they encouraged his independence. Since our father arrived at the Wheatsheaf, it was the happiest we had seen our father in a long time. I can’t begin to thank the staff for their care and dedication to my father. As a family, we will forever be grateful to them. I would highly recommend the Wheatsheaf for any loved one when that difficult decision comes, seeing my father smile will stay with me forever.
Reply from Ravi Patel, CEO at Wheatsheaf Court Nursing HomeThank you so much for this incredibly kind and heartwarming review about your father's experience at Wheatsheaf. It brings us great fulfilment to hear that your father became engaged in activities, he loves like darts and singing and that the team took the time to discover those interests and facilitate his independence. Seeing our residents' smiles and knowing we are enriching their lives is what makes our work so rewarding. Your words about this being the happiest you'd seen your father in a long time are perhaps the highest praise we could receive. Outstanding care team who anticipate patients' needs brilliantly. My husband is well looked after with an honest sincerity of care for his comfort and well-being and especially personal care and welfare.
Brought a former CQC inspector yesterday who is my husband's cousin and she was so relieved that
Sebright is as great a home as I had told her but naturally wanted to see for herself; she was thrilled.
Many thanks to the many staff very well led by a particular member of staff who provide the best in the tragic circumstances.
God Bless you all.

The home provided exceptional and thoughtful care to my mother. The staff were always kind, patient, and sensitive. The home feels more like a family environment compared to other care facilities that are more like hospitals or hotels in the atmosphere, and this is a real plus. The manager went out
of his way to understand my mother’s needs in terms of her food and care preferences and was always available for a chat. All the staff took time to talk and listen to my mother and really got to know her, she was genuinely touched by the kindness shown by her carers, as I was too. The nursing staff were excellent in monitoring her diabetes and pain levels – the team are lovely and credit to all of them for providing such a caring environment.

My mother is a resident at Wheatsheaf Court and since her admission earlier this year has received excellent care from caring and compassionate staff who have responded to Mum's changing care and health needs in a professional and dignified way. Communication with all staff is excellent and we always
feel welcome when visiting Mum. Staff make time to discuss any issues relating to Mum's care. Mum is comfortable and well cared for in every way for which we are grateful. As a family, we were confident that Mum would receive the best possible care as our late father was also a resident for almost 12 months before his peaceful passing in May 2023. His last few months were happy and he was able to engage in many activities before his health declined. His final days were peaceful and he received dignified care from wonderful staff.
I would highly recommend Wheatsheaf Court to anyone who is considering care for a relative. It is a happy caring home with a family atmosphere.
