My father spent his last few weeks of life at The Spinney Care Home, all the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, all his wishes and needs were met, lovely location, very clean and tidy, couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

I would like to say how surprised and happy I was to come to the spinney care home as I didn't know anything about it. The staff are wonderful, helpful and lovely. I was very reluctant when I come from hospital to the Spinney and I ]was very well looked after like at Spinney and the service was clean
and food great. Staff was very helpful with my recovery and they make me happy at Spinney. My bedroom was lovely and clean. I can't fault the service.

My aunt broke her hip and after a two-week hospital stay, needed care home convalescence, which was provided by Coventry City Council at The Spinney Care Home. The first impressions were fantastic and have remained so throughout her six-week stay. Showing and giving professionalism, caring, kind and
clean. Should the need arise, I would definitely apply for future accommodation for my aunt, even if we have to pay. Ten out of ten.

Care for our Mother is excellent and she always seems clean and happy. Staff are always polite and courteous. The Covid Policy is strict, protecting staff and residents. Home always looks clean and tidy and is in pleasant surroundings.

It is the staff that make The Spinney. My dad always said how kind they were. Whenever I visited they always let me know how my dad was doing and were very supportive at his passing.

Great staff and management who made my dad feel welcome and cared for when he couldn’t be independent. Genuine staff and always happy to accommodate any requests. Very polite staff and nothing was ever too much trouble. A big thank you for caring for my dad in his time of need, it is so appreciated.

This is an excellent care home since my brother moved in, he is now safe. The staff are amazing, they are very friendly and very helpful. The staff always keep you informed of the care of your relative and the manager is lovely and very caring. They do a fantastic job with the residents l would definitely

In an emergency, I had to be taken into care. I was unable to care for myself to the point of self-neglect. In five weeks the care has been excellent to the point of getting to what is normal. This is due to the encouragement and gentle care, masses of rest and a healthy weight.

My dad was a resident of The Spinney for over two years and was happy there and enjoyed a good relationship with a majority of the carers. He wasn't always the easiest person to get along with but he was treated with respect and information was shared with me to try and make things easier. There were
some minor issues at times but they were dealt with professionally and resolved.

My mother arrived at The Spinney just four days ago from hospital and in the most challenging health environment, we have ever known. I was immediately put at ease by the manager, who responded to my first email immediately and then sent a beautiful photo of my Mum. It was so reassuring to see her happy,
clean and safe. When I delivered a suitcase of my mother’s belongings, I was met by a most professional care worker who kept to all requisite protocols at the door. I found the notice on the door of The Spinney explaining Covid restrictions reassuring too.
Since then all my questions have been answered and I am confident of the high quality of care my mother is receiving.

The resident was clearly loved and very happy residing at the home. We visited regularly and always received a friendly welcome. In particular, the manager went to great steps to ensure the resident had the best care and quality of life despite the disability that made her life very challenging. I
was blown away by the love and care, dignity and respect shown to the resident. There was always a family atmosphere. The resident lived at the home for 7 very happy years where she thrived as much as possible which was difficult due to her degenerative illness. During the last week, she was in hospital and received 24 hour beside care from loving staff who stayed with her until she passed. We are so thankful to the manager and staff for the incredible care that was given.

What a fantastic care home, with staff who go above and beyond the call of duty. One member of staff has not just provided amazing care for my father, but her support towards myself has been outstanding. The care home is set in beautiful surroundings and is very well maintained. An absolute pleasure

My brother has been at Minster Lodge for many years – this is at least his seventh year, and it is probably longer. I was impressed with the home from early on, and particularly with the manager and staff, who have always been friendly, efficient and willing to go out of their way to help us when I
have visited. The room he now has is particularly good: he was able to buy a chair and sofa to make it even better. He seems to like the food and is usually happy with the staff, though he has occasional periods when he is unhappy with everyone. The staff are good at coping with this. I think it would be difficult to find a home as good for him.

I liked the set up of The Spinney, homely and warm. The staff were very kind, nothing was too much for them. My friend went for respite over Christmas. We felt welcome and liked the friendly atmosphere, meals, activities, especially his spiritual well being. He was ready for church every Sunday, well
dressed and smart. Thanks to the manageress and others, you are superb at what you do.

I am very satisfied with the quality of care being provided for my relative.
She is treated with dignity, respect and given excellent care, as are we when we visit or approach or contact or visit the residential home either when planned or not.
The residents are well supervised in the main lounge
and activities and a good routine is in place.
Communication between staff and me are good. They are always open to suggestions and ways in which they can enhance the individual care needs of my relative.
They have always carried satisfactorily any actions that needed addressing for the care of my relative within a short time span, they have listened and acted with understanding and care so that the maximum quality of care has been optimised for my relative's individual needs and situation.
The cleanliness of my relatives home and room is excellent as is the interaction with my relative and encouragement to enhance her well-being and health.
A good nutritional menu and foods are provided.
