Mum came into Montgomery House in May 2025, her care has been exceptional, we cannot fault it. All of the staff from cleaners, care staff, occupational therapy and qualified staff have been friendly and cheerful and made Mum feel welcome. The nurses in charge always kept me up to date with any of mums care and so communications cannot be faulted. She has only been in nursing care for the last six months following a spell in hospital, after leaving hospital the care she received has been excellent. A big thankyou for all members of staff, well done.

Outstanding is what I say you all were.

I brought my mum over from Crete 4 and a half years ago. Mum arrived at the care home at 9pm straight from the airport. It was a stressful day that I will never forget but from my first phone call to the home 2-3 weeks prior to our arrival we were listened to, cared for and reassured. Since then I have visited mum many times, to begin with, daily. I have never once seen a member of staff frustrated or annoyed. All I see is love and care. It's not perfect, they get some things wrong but I'm now at a stage where I recently went on holiday for 3 weeks (I'm mums only visitor) and I didn't have a single worry or concern for mum's welfare in my absence). In fact I can't believe how lucky we were to find Greenfields and the wonderful staff who care for mum as if she was a member of their family.

Any issue or concern that i raise is taken on board and addressed. Communication is good.

Mum was at Greenfields for the last nine months. From the first day we sat with the manager, discussing mums needs, to the time she spent on Snowdrop unit, everyone I met was welcoming and knowledgeable and cared about the residents. I was fully informed at all times. Mum was cared for and respected. The unit was well looked after visually, but its the team of staff that make it special. You go above and beyond. It's a special gift. something not everyone can do. So, Thank you so much for caring for my lovely mum while she was with you. You're a special team.

My mom was in The Cottage Christian a short time but what a fantastic place I can't highly recommend it enough. Very caring and professional in what they do. Thank you to the manager and her team who looked after mom before she passed away.

My sister moved into this care home in February 2024, she has had the best care and very attentive to her needs. Myself and my family have had peace of mind since she moved into the home. The staff are second to none. They keep me well-informed about her care. I have a phone call every month telling me about her review. We visit regularly and we always have a nice welcome.

My family member has been cared for, for over ten months at Innage Grange Care Home. Treated with care, kindness and dignity. His dietary preferences have been respected and no request is too much for the staff, whose kindness and dedication shine through.

My mother was transferred to Montgomery House Care Home from hospital on 26th December 2022 to her death on 9th January 2023. They cared for her with great sensitivity, trying at all times to improve her health and well-being. We and all her visitors were treated courteously at all times with many commenting how well the staff treated them and my mother. This includes all staff, from reception staff to agency staff and the clinical team. Nothing was ever too much and requests were dealt with promptly and positively. Even up to her death, we were involved in all aspects of her care in a timely and sensitive manner. It is always difficult to see a loved one passing away slowly in front of you, the staff at Montgomery House never accepted what we felt was inevitable and tried throughout to turn her fortunes round. I, along with members of our family, have experienced both personally and professionally many care homes and I believe Montgomery House is amongst the best we have dealt with.

On Thursday 30th, Dad called me to say he was not being cared for and wanted other people's numbers to help him get back home to his flat, as he was being neglected. He also said he was still trying to get a haircut.

The food was fine but the care was not acceptable and the safeguarding was non-existent. Using a lot of agency staff does not give continuity with residents.
