Home is clean with no offensive smells lingering, staff mostly pleasant and welcoming, bit of an issue with mum's medication varying especially in a morning. Unfortunately mums dietary requirements not met, portions small and of poor quality, quite often burnt. Had no table in room which meant mum had
to sit on toilet to wash.

My husband has been a resident of Jansondean for just over four years and, in this time, he has flourished under the care of the entire team. With their experience, they are able to care for my husband who can be stubborn to say the least. I would not want him to be in a different care home.

The Millreed Lodge is a warm and welcoming care home. My Mother in law is very happy there. When we visit the staff are always chatty and we feel like its a home from home atmosphere. There is always things to look forward to. They organise events for the residents to look forward to and join in. So
a BIG THANK YOU to all the staff.

My mother moved into Millreed Lodge just before Christmas. She has settled well due to the kindness and attentiveness of staff. Nothing has been too much trouble. Mum received a warm welcome as do we and other friends and family when we visit. It helps us to accept the decision for Mum to move out of
the family home knowing she is safe, comfortable and well cared for.

The atmosphere is always welcoming. The staff are absolutely fantastic-so friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They always go above and beyond for our Auntie. The personal connections they have built with our aunt is truly appreciated. The facility is becoming more well-maintained and the environment
is also becoming more attractive. We are so grateful for the level of care and kindness my aunt receives here. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a supportive and friendly home.
I would also like to thank everyone for the positive experience the students are receiving on their work experience. This is so much appreciated.

Mam could not have had a better home. I visited most days at different times, never saw or heard anything which concerned me about the care for Mam or any other resident. Demanding residents treated calmly and patiently. All residents treated with care and kindness. The building has its challenges as
it is a conversion but outweighed by the standard of care. I always felt at home visiting and enjoyed being there. Over the 9 months Mam lived here there was barely any change in staff, which suggests a well-run business and good staff relations. Lots of effort went into events like Bonfire night and Christmas, again staff deserve praise for this. Finally, one huge relief for me was that there was no smell of disinfectant etc. This was one of my worst fears about residential houses.

On behalf of our family, I would to thank all the staff at Millreed Lodge for their kindness and compassion during my Mum's stay there (and sadly her passing). Her room was cosy and spotlessly clean. Her face lit up when she saw staff members and she called them her best friends. It was comforting to
know she was being looked after by a wonderful team of carers.
Sadly Mum passed away a week ago. We will be eternally grateful that she was surrounded by such a wonderful caring team on her passing. It was reassuring to know she passed with dignity, love and kindness.

Many thanks to the lovely staff at Millreed Lodge Care Home, Walsden for looking after our mum so well. Thanks to all the residents for welcoming Mum to their home.
We had a lovely family party for Mum's 95th Birthday in a cosy private room the staff decorated for us.
We have been supported throughout
Mum's short stay with them.
Our brother managed to secure a placement much nearer to Mum's and our homes.
We are sad we have had to do it this way but we will be able to see Mum more than once a week now.
Thank you to all the staff at Millreed, you looked after our mum and us very well, it's much appreciated.
