Very pleased with the caring and considerate manner in which our mother has been taken care of from the very beginning of her residence at Jansondean Care Home. The staff are very professional and considerate in the way they try to meet the needs of our mother. There is a very friendly and warm approach from all members of staff which is very encouraging. The Manager and her support staff tries to have regular family meetings where if there are any concerns or issues these are discussed and ways to reach satisfactory conclusions are met. Our mother is well fed. Yes, it is reassuring to know that Mam is in a Home where genuine care and consideration are being given on a daily basis.

Overall I cannot fault the care my mum receives at this home except once a miss judgement when she came out of hospital and left confined to her bed thst she didn't like , but we have overcome that and mum is very happy , I wish they could arrange to give the residents days out away from the home now and then , or at least a few hours to break the monotony of being in one place all the time .

The staff are always very friendly towards me and my Mother. Tracy is particularly good. She keeps me updated on all aspects of the care home and always has a cheerful smile. My Mother comments regularly on how good the food is under the watchful eye of Jenny the cool.

Good activities and good food. My wife's clothes need sorting into manageable piles in her drawers and sometimes she seems to have few of a particular item but they may be in the wash. I need to be told if she needs anything like clothes etc. This has happened in the past but at other times I have had to find out for myself.

Janson Dean care home Bromley provided a highly recommendable care service for our dear step father. From his admission to the final palliative care, Janson Dean' s care team provided a very personal and caring support. We really appreciate the constant attention from the Care team who got to know our stepfather personally. What was also remarkable was that it was a close knit team with minimal use of agency carers which we and our stepfather found very agreeable as it was beneficial to him being able to recognise the carers looking after him particularly towards the end of his care.
We would just like to thank all the team at the Care home for the great care given to our dear family member

I'm now a former resident so I can now speak more freely than I could before as staff had a go at my previous review, During my time here management changed hands and this improved thing's But the issues I had Meals were small breakfast consisted mostly of 2 sausages 1, spoon full of tinned tomatoes and toast Dinner and tea were small portions the chefs need training The smoking shelter was a total dump staff made no effort to clean it A number of times the doors were left wide open so a number of residents escaped Certain staff badgers the residents who had their own mind Theft happened to me a few times
Even though it says alcohol free many times residents brought in alcohol the we're even times cameras caught people drunk and nothing was done times are changing at the belmar but slowly

My husband has been a resident of Jansondean for just over four years and, in this time, he has flourished under the care of the entire team. With their experience, they are able to care for my husband who can be stubborn to say the least. I would not want him to be in a different care home.

The personal connections they have built with our aunt is truly appreciated. The facility is becoming more well-maintained and the environment is also becoming more attractive. We are so grateful for the level of care and kindness my aunt receives here. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a supportive and friendly home.
