Professional staff who are caring and considerate to meet the needs of my mother. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The home is clean, tidy and well-maintained. Food is good with plenty of options. Staff keep the family well informed regarding care and how my mom is settling into the new environment.
Mom's security is excellent. My only note for improvement would be that all staff should wear name badges to help my mum remember as she has bad dementia.

My experience is first Class. My husband and I recently celebrated our Diamond Anniversary and I can only say the management and staff went out of their way to make it absolutely fabulous. They could not do enough for us. I was so overwhelmed with their effort to make it special for us. I visit almost
every day and I can only say it as it is. The staff go all the way to make this a comfortable and loving home. If I have a complaint it would be that they would make it even better with some more staff. As it is they are a first class team and I personally do not know what I would do without them.

My brother with cerebral palsy and communication issues moved in in November. I have nothing but praise for all the staff, the home, the welcome they have given him, the ambience and attitude. I am so grateful for all they are offering him. His quality of life has rocketed. God bless them all.

The staff are super helpful and friendly, they’re always there to help and support me with anything my father may need.
When I was out of the country for my father’s birthday they went out there way to make sure he was celebrated.

The transition of my husband becoming a resident at Balhousie Forth View Care Home was made so much easier by the thoughtfulness caring, attention to the feelings, and compassion of all of the staff and management. Management also helped me with my feelings of loss, guilt and hopelessness. They guided
and supported me in taking my husband on his first outing and encouraged me to be brave with a lot of reassurance that they would be at my side all the way. My feelings of gratitude are immeasurable. Thank you all so much.

Had a very nice visit. My nephew seemed relaxed and settled. The staff were all very kind and considerate. The manager is very informative and willing to listen and advise.

Since my mum came to live at Forth View Care Home she has been very well looked after. Since my dad was told he was terminal, your staff have been so nice and told me they were there for myself and my family, not just to look after my mum. I always find my mum clean and seems content. All the staff
answer my questions, always cheery. My only problem is your two front doors, there's a slope and trying to open the heavy door while pushing a wheelchair is difficult. An electric slide door would help.

Always found staff and management very helpful. He is always praising the care workers; they are always popping in to see him and giving him tea and biscuits. He always says they are good to him. Keep up the good work.

Over the last 15 months, the staff have been brilliant in supporting my husband, especially during the recent Covid outbreak. They work tirelessly to care for and support him even when he isn’t as compliant as he might be making their job very difficult. I can sleep well at night knowing that he is
safe and cared for 24 hours a day. I always feel welcomed and staff keep me very well informed. Thank you to all the staff at Forth View.

My mother moved into Balhousie Forth View with my father 11years ago. Sadly he only had a few months in the home before he died. Since then my mother has been very happy and contented in Forth View. My sister and I know that she is well cared for and she feels secure. We have been especially grateful
to the home for the way they have handled things during the COVID pandemic. We have felt that she has been in good hands.

I am 77 years of age and my wife is 75 years of age. She has been a resident at this home for four years and 7 months. In general, the care has been good but on some occasions not up to standard. I feel it because this is a privately run home and therefore Profit has to be a big factor in my opinion.
Meals and some equipment are not up to the standard I would expect considering the amount of money each resident pays.

In my opinion, Balhousie Forth View Care Home is a wonderful place. The atmosphere is tangibly full of love and care, and it's a place of happiness and fun too.


Each member of staff, in my experience, was dedicated to their calling of providing excellent care to each and every resident. Nothing was

too much trouble for them, and they were certainly very good listeners. It meant that all of my mother's family and friends could rest assured she was fine in there.
