When my brother went into Stormont Lodge he was in a very poor physical state. His mental health wa also poor. It did not take the team at Stormont Lodge long to bring him back from the brink; they have done a fantastic job over the past 2 years. Dawn and her team have been fantastic.

I cannot praise Ruthven Towers Care Home enough. Since dad went in for care, they have been fantastic. Keep us informed of everything going on. Inclusive activities for residents. Go above and beyond to have activities available to suit his needs. Heard dad had been a drummer, made sticks and pads available.
Fantastic staff, caring, thoughtful.
Great facilities, clean, welcoming, bright, and friendly. It's like visiting dad at "home", not a care home.

I am happy with mum's care at the home. She is always clean and tidy. There is always something going on for the residents, and the staff really care. Since Dawn has taken over as the manager, the home feels warmer, and nothing is too much trouble. The carers are superb; however Mags stands out as wonderful.

My husband is now in full time care. It is very upsetting but the staff are so good, it helps me know he is well looked after and I am looked after with help and updates.
The lounge and dining area are clean and tidy and the food looks good. Games are fun for all and a party is due at the end of October.

This was my first visit to the care home, and it was delightful to see and hear from the residents how happy they were to be there. They are kept fully occupied and entertained, and friendships are made. I was welcomed as a visitor and invited to join the activities, and shared a meal with everyone.
The follow-up with photos of the day and past events is great. A happy home to live in.

We could not be happier with the loving care and kindness our mother receives from all the wonderful staff at Stormont Lodge Care Home. Our mother is so happy and contented, we can say without fear of contradiction that she could not be in a better plaice. The building and surroundings are lovely,
which she of course loves, but more importantly she is genuinely so fond of everyone at Stormont and comments all the time about how lovely everyone is and nothing is any bother to them. This kindness was recently clearly demonstrated again by all the staff when our mother's friend and our sister's mother in law very sadly passed away. She was also a resident at Stormont, which was the main reason we decided to try and find mum a place there as well, a decision we are so thankful we made. When it was evident mum's friend was deteriorating, the staff were so supportive and showed great tenderness towards mum and gave her lots of love and support during what was a difficult time for her.

No one wants to put their loved one into a home. The Manager at Pitlochry goes the extra mile to allay any doubts and feelings of guilt. She makes you realise that they have the facilities and equipment to provide care and comfort with dignity. They understand dementia. If this can be replicated in
your own home with an adequate care package, you could offer the perfect alternative, but finding carers is not easy. They are impartial and will help you achieve the best for your loved one. Thank you for your support.

Mum has been a resident in Balhousie since the 10th July 2025. Moving here after a couple of spells in hospital. As Mum has stayed in Pitlochry most of her life and I reside here, Balhousie was the obvious choice. Since moving in, Mum has been well cared for by everybody. Her physical health has improved
dramatically. Daily interaction with others has helped this happen. All members of staff are warm and caring. They keep me well informed regarding Mum's health and wellbeing. I would recommend Balhousie to others who are looking for a safe, friendly environment for their loved ones.

I've had relatives stay or live in three different care homes and have visited most of the homes in Perthshire. Rumbling Bridge stands out from all the rest because of the staff. Uniquely, the staff here seem happy and keen to help, which makes all the difference. Despite many visits, Rumbling Bridge
never smelled like a toilet (many do - it means they're too short staffed to deal with anything quickly), and nobody was asleep in their soup. They try their best to treat everyone with respect.

We both want to reiterate how our cousin is settled with you all at Coupar Angus. She started to feel, in her own words 'safe'. At the start of her long journey into care firstly at other homes, we realised how anxious she had been feeling living alone and independently for so long prior to her move
into care. Your staff are all so good with her and certainly understand her often unclear demands, but we do see that spark of humour that our cousin can display which reminds us of old and one knows that she has connected with the staff. We are both happy with the care our cousin is receiving. Her diabetes is well controlled and wish our grateful thanks to be conveyed to all staff involved in her care.
