Overall Experience

On visiting Inglewood care home I have found it to be clean and the staff all very helpful. I have visited the care home on numerous occasions and can not fault it. The staff are very professional and the care they give is first class.

Overall I am happy with the care home, staff are lovely & they do keep the residents entertained.
I feel mum is much better off here than she was at home.

The security seems very good with staff keycode entrance and exit, so no worries of her getting out on her own.

It is my father that lives in the care home. It is beautifully clean and all the residents look well cared for. However ,I noticed that my father hadn't shaved for a week or more! The residents don't seem toget treats such as crisps as, when I brought some in they all wanted some. Along with a fizzy drink. The care home pays attention to nutrition bringing watermelon and chocolate milkshake in the afternoon. I do wonder what they do for stimulation as they appeared to be just sat there although, on a previous occasion, there was singing and music so maybe it was just quiet time when I visited! All of the residents seemed relaxed and the staff were at a discreet distance. On the whole, I really like the care home and am happy that my father is there. It is quality care.

My Dad stayed at Kingsfield for 2 weeks respite, after a hospital stay, while we were on holiday. The staff were wonderful with him, very kind and caring. My Dad enjoyed his stay. He said that the food was good & he liked eating in the dining room with the other residents. He also enjoyed sitting on the patio in the sunshine. He also enjoyed taking part in activities.

In March, my wife went on respite for 2 weeks, then we decided it should be permanent. First room was good, I requested an ensuite when once came available, my wife moved into one 2 weeks ago, and it's excellent.

Management and staff, I can't fault them; they are all excellent in a demanding job/environment. At first, I was apprehensive about letting other people look after my special wife. All my worries soon disappeared. All are so caring. I thank you all.

Greenlane care home is the perfect place for my Mother. It gives us all peace of mind that she is being well cared.
Everyday there is some sort of activity including move it or loose it which sounds fab.

Any issues are quickly sorted and the staff are excellent.

My mother has resided at Inglewood residential care home for approximately four weeks now and as a family we have received a warm and friendly welcome from all staff.
We find the staff very attentive, caring and my mother is treated with dignity at all times.

Social areas for residents are comfortable, well decorated and clean. My mother is able to personalise her own bedroom which offers a nice open, light and airy aspect. There is a homely aspect throughout with regular activities for residents on offer. As a family, we are very happy with all aspects of my mother's care.

My mother-in-law has been at Inglewood for 18 months. The care she receives is outstanding. Unfortunately, she had to go into the hospital, she was there for 3 weeks, and came back with a pressure sore. That had never happened before due to the care she gets. She always looks clean and dressed accordingly. She even gets her nails painted. Attention to detail.

Mam has now been in Greenlane over 2 years and we can honestly say even today when I told her we were filling out this review she said 'you must say how lovely it is here' so to me that sums Greenlane up , mam is so happy and content it is so reassuring to know she is safe and so very well looked after.

Greenlane was the best thing that happened for us as a family we cannot praise everyone there enough.

It is very daunting when a loved one has to go into a care home, but luckily, we have found the care given at Inglewood to be exceptional. All the staff from management down are friendly, happy, conscientious, and approachable. The home is clean and welcoming.

I like that there was always lots of activities. I enjoyed the company of the other residents and there was a nice atmosphere in the care home. The staff were helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the meals, but would have liked hot meals to be hotter.

I brought my mam to Abbotsfield Care Home for two weeks respite care. She was welcomed by staff with a cuppa and a chocolate bar. When I visited her she always seemed happy and remembered activities that she had been involved in.

When I picked her up at the end of her stay, she was not wearing her hearing aids, and I'm unsure if she was consistently helped to put her hearing aids in each day.

My mum has been a resident since Nov' 25. Mum is happy and settled and loves the staff. I'm always greeted warmly and staff always go out of heir way with all the residents, visitors and colleagues.

I'd like to give a special 'shout out' to Simone, she always goes out of her way to update me on mums care and wellbeing.
