The staff all take good care of the residents. And they keep them occupied with things to do, and events to stimulate. The building is quite old, and in some need of investment, ref lift and some other areas. But saying that, it doesn't effect the level of care.
Reply from Rhiannon Freeman-Gray, Review Team at Bradbury HouseThanks very much for taking the time to review us. We're delighted to hear that you're so happy with the level of care at Rendlesham, and the events and activities we run. If there's ever anything more we can do to support your loved one, please don't hesitate to ask.

My brother has been at Bradbury House a few years now. After moving out of his home where he lived alone, really lonely and miserable, this home has been so good for him. He now thinks of everyone there as his family. All of the staff are so caring, nothing is too much trouble. There is always something
different planned for every day and the activities are always varied.
Such a wonderful place, he can call home.
Reply from Stuart Lamacraft, Reviews Team at Bradbury HouseThank you for the generous review. We're pleased to hear how happy and settled your brother is at Bradbury House, and that he feels such a strong sense of belonging here - he truly sees the home as family.

I want to thank the whole team at Belmont Castle for the excellent way they cared for my mother in the last 10 months of her life. Sadly, Alzheimer's robbed Mum of her memory and so being treated with kindness and compassion was especially crucial for Mum to maintain her dignity, and have her wishes
respected. The care staff are very professional and sweet, and Mum became very fond of her personal care workers in particular. It was such a relief for me knowing Mum was in safe hands and, when we took Mum out, seeing she was happy to return. I had no health LPA in place but the Belmont manager instigated getting a DOLS agreement in place, meaning a team of us would together make decisions in Mum's best interests. That too was very professional and much appreciated. Mum had a lovely room, with two windows with an outlook over trees. Belmont really feels homely. The staff are long stay, no constant turnover. That too helps create 'home'. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Reply from Rhiannon Freeman-Gray, Divisional Marketing Manager at Belmont Castle Care HomeThank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt review. We are so sorry for your loss but honoured to have cared for your mother and are pleased to hear that our team was able to support her with kindness and compassion throughout her time with us. Your kind words mean a great deal to everyone at Belmont.

My dad was admitted to East Hill at the end of September 2025 with dementia. Although it took him a while to settle down, the staff were amazing with him. They were also very supportive to me and always had time to talk to me and reassure me Dad suffered a major stroke in February and was admitted
to hospital. When it was clear that dad was not going to recover, East Hill were more than happy to take him back.
Dad's last days were comfortable and peaceful. The staff were so attentive, not only to dad but also to me and my husband as we stayed with dad for the last few days. I cannot praise the home high enough for all their care and I will always be grateful that my dad had a peaceful and dignified last few days

My brother-in-law has been in East Hill for 1 year now. Our first impression of East Hill was the friendliness of the staff and the homely atmosphere. Although lacking in some modern features and needing updating, the managers and staff are devoted to their residents, and continually try to entertained
care for them in the best way they can. Relatives are always kept informed and welcomed when visiting at any time.
In sum up, a comfortable, homely place, with dedicated staff.

My father-in-law came to stay with you for just one week prior to his death.
Words cannot express the kindness, compassion and understanding with which we were met. It had become very difficult to care for Dad at home and meet all his needs. The care was at such a higher level in Holmwood than we were
able to offer at home.
Thank you, from all his family, for everything.

My mother was recently taken ill on a bank holiday. The staff on duty acted immediately, taking observations and calling for a doctor with no hesitation, at all times, they were very professional and showed great care to myself and my brother, who were present at the time. This kindness was shown by
all members of staff at all levels, but particularly nurse Vernilla and nurse Carol. Thank you.
