My husband was admitted to Oak Manor in 2024 from a failing Care Home. The contrast between the two homes was stark. There are so many wonderful things to say about this home it is difficult to know where to start.
You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. The home is clean and gives the impression
of being loved. The staff are amazing, they do a very difficult job but always professionally, with kindness, care and a smile on their faces. It is evident that they take pride in what they do and are valued for doing it.
This is very much down to the leadership, which is exceptional. They are highly professional, hands on, accessible, approachable and always willing to listen and act when required. The love and care they show to residents and their families is second to none; you feel as if you are all part of a family.
My husband died there recently and the care and support he and our family got from cleaners, care and nursing staff and management was truly wonderful.
Thank you so much.

Beechwood from the start have been amazing. Went for a visit and we were welcomed by Cheryl who is just fantastic. She was very informative, knowledgable, calming and caring. We were also joined by Marek who was just so warm and open with us. All staff are amazing, approachable and very caring. The
home is clean and calm. The meals and activities available are brilliant and any concerns we had were resolved and all feedback taken on board.
The rooms are great and such a nice touch being allowed to decorate and make as homely as possible for residents.
Can't ask for much more!

My Mum went in for a weeks respite for the very first time at the end of March. This was an anxious time for us both however Nicky and all the lovely carers took great care of Mum. Mum even made new friends which was great for her. Unfortunately had to fund this myself due to an administrative issue
which is being sorted however it was worth every penny as I was recommended and knew she would be very safe and looked after which she was. Mum will definitely be coming back and I would like to thank all involved for making her stay very easy and for the care given.

The staff all take good care of the residents. And they keep them occupied with things to do, and events to stimulate. The building is quite old, and in some need of investment, ref lift and some other areas. But saying that, it doesn't effect the level of care.

My brother has been at Bradbury House a few years now. After moving out of his home where he lived alone, really lonely and miserable, this home has been so good for him. He now thinks of everyone there as his family. All of the staff are so caring, nothing is too much trouble. There is always something
different planned for every day and the activities are always varied.
Such a wonderful place, he can call home.

10 out of 5.
From my very first visit in January this year to see if Beechwood care home would be a good fit for my Mom's care I was so impressed. We were not rushed and had access to the whole nursing home.
Beechwood was absolutely my only choice for Mom. ( and we visited a number of other homes)
The first thing that struck me was the calmness and relaxed atmosphere. Every single member of staff were welcoming and happy to answer all my questions.
Mom has now been In for 5 weeks and she is transformed. I was so worried about how she would settle. The staff are brilliant. The management team are outstanding. I feel a massive weight has been lifted. I am 100% Mom is in the best place. Getting the best care and she loves the food. The activities are great. She loves the choirs.
Thank you

the door Monday morning looking for a place for my mother and by Monday evening my mother was in the home ! This only happened because the duty manager pulled

I want to thank the whole team at Belmont Castle for the excellent way they cared for my mother in the last 10 months of her life. Sadly, Alzheimer's robbed Mum of her memory and so being treated with kindness and compassion was especially crucial for Mum to maintain her dignity, and have her wishes
respected. The care staff are very professional and sweet, and Mum became very fond of her personal care workers in particular. It was such a relief for me knowing Mum was in safe hands and, when we took Mum out, seeing she was happy to return. I had no health LPA in place but the Belmont manager instigated getting a DOLS agreement in place, meaning a team of us would together make decisions in Mum's best interests. That too was very professional and much appreciated. Mum had a lovely room, with two windows with an outlook over trees. Belmont really feels homely. The staff are long stay, no constant turnover. That too helps create 'home'. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

My dad was admitted to East Hill at the end of September 2025 with dementia. Although it took him a while to settle down, the staff were amazing with him. They were also very supportive to me and always had time to talk to me and reassure me Dad suffered a major stroke in February and was admitted
to hospital. When it was clear that dad was not going to recover, East Hill were more than happy to take him back.
Dad's last days were comfortable and peaceful. The staff were so attentive, not only to dad but also to me and my husband as we stayed with dad for the last few days. I cannot praise the home high enough for all their care and I will always be grateful that my dad had a peaceful and dignified last few days

Dad came in to Scoonie House January 2026. He was welcomed warmly by staff, shown to his room and offered coffee, cake and an ice cream cone (his favourite) on arrival. Staff did their best to make him feel at home, and nothing was too much trouble. He is warm, comfortable and safe and I have found
the staff to be attentive and very kind at all times. His room is well equipped ensuite, and cleaning daily. He is enjoying his food, and has the option to eat in his room or in the the dining room. I am very happy and relieved to have found Scoonie House for dad!

Scoonie House has been a great place for my mum to be, the staff are all so caring for her and also amazing for our whole family. The home has always been very clean and tidy. The most important thing is that my mum is happy there. We all see so many negative stories regarding care homes but this is
