Mum is looked after to a high standard, nothing is too much trouble.
This care centre has looked after my son for the past eighteen months-plus and has helped him in many ways through illness and recovery, also rehabilitation. So thank you to the manager and staff.
Victoria House Care Centre is simply amazing! My dad's been there for a few years and the staff are so lovely, Dad's just gained another family to love and care for him like we do! I would recommend them to anyone, yes it may not look as amazing on the outside as some of the newly built ones but the care is just outstanding, I think you'd struggle to find better care anywhere else!
Thank you for such a lovely review of Victoria House, we are proud of our staff and happy to know that your dad is well cared for by the home.
Five simple words...you're all amazing, thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about the fantastic care your uncle receives at Victoria House, it is great to see staff being appreciated for all they do; we also believe they give fantastic and supportive care to people in the home
The staff are all very good and give all the assistance they can. All in all, a satisfactory home for the residents.
Thank you for taking the time to comment on the care your wife receives at Victoria House, we believe the care staff give is second to none and are happy that you find your wife well cared for.
My husband is very well looked after and the staff are all very welcoming and helpful to both me and my family.
Thank you for taking time to let us know about the care your husband receives at Victoria House. It is lovely to know that staff are welcoming to you and your family when you you visit.
I cannot speak any more highly about the amazing care that all of the staff provide to my mum. Her physical and psychological needs are met in every way, and changes are made as and when her physical needs and dementia deteriorate to ensure her needs are maintained. The nursing staff keep in regular contact updating on changes and involving me as much as they can in care planning. The care home is a very happy place - all staff will go out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. I feel reassured knowing that my mum is being looked after so well and is safe at all times. I am sure if my mum could speak she would tell them every day “Thank You”.
Thank you for your lovely words about the care your mum receives and the staff at the home. We believe that staff at the home are caring, wonderful people; it is good to know that you are reassured that your mum is well looked after.
The standard of care my father-in-law receives is excellent. The staff have full knowledge of his needs and requirements, these are carried out with respect, dignity and professionalism. Good welcome throughout the building, not only to ourselves but also to my father-in-law when he has returned from times he has needed a hospital stay, the staff all come and welcome him back. All outside professionals comment on how well the staff know him if they need to contact the home to find more information about his needs and how he presents daily.
Thank you for your feedback, we also believe that Victoria House staff give excellent care, thank you for taking the time to share your and your father-in-law's experience of the home.
Very happy with the level of care my husband receives. Both staff and other residents are very kind and friendly and my husband is quite settled there.

The Manager is so helpful, very polite and no knows their job. Really helpful to me and family. Staff are excellentt, really look after my dad. Premises are very clean. Cleaners are always about when you visit. The food and cooks are excellent. My Dad really likes th ehome and me and my family really appreciate everything Victoria House do for us. Excellent home facilities.
I find that the unit my husband is on is very efficient. I am very pleased with his care. He seems happy and content. If I note something I want altering, the Manager is good at dealing with and nothing is too much trouble.
I have never been so nervous about making a decision for my mum. From our first day, we have been made to feel welcome and mum really likes being there. Even when the carers have been dealing with some quite challenging situations which can be quite regular, they keep smiling and keep everyone up. Worth their weight in gold.
The staff are caring and have supported us as a family since our Aunt moved to the home. They have helped her to settle in and engage in activities etc.
On the floor my wife is on there are 21 rooms. All are clean and comfortable, there are wide open corridors for people who like to walk about.
Nice welcome from staff I knew there (I have been several times before). Food good, caring staff. A couple of outings. The weather was not too good overall a pleasant stay.
After moving my relative here following issues at his previous home I can honestly say this was a fantastic move.
The service is very well led with a manager who is passionate about standards of service and leads from the front.
The staff team are well trained and professional in their roles but the empathy they have can't be taught and the relationship they have built with my family make us really comfortable our relative is being well looked after.
They keep us regularly informed of any issues which again is very reassuring.
The best move we have made and our relative is once again thriving.
His whole care delivers a person centred approach that once again gives him his dignity.
The cooks are adaptable and make him meals of his own choice whenever he chooses. No sign of an institutional approach and as a result he has gained to a healthy weight once more.
Keep up the great work.
He also displays very challenging behaviour and the staff are very tolerant and understanding.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and always have a smile when they meet you on your visit.
Since my mum has been in Elizabeth Court she has put weight on (which is a good thing) I find the staff are very obliging and pleasant. On the whole my mums in a good place for her care and well being with her illness.
