My dad was on respite care at Silver Birches, even though his stay was short, the staff were absolutely amazing. The care he received was brilliant we couldn’t have asked for better care. The home was spotless, and welcoming, my dad enjoyed his stay and in the future if needed we would definitely use
Silver Birches again. My dad felt at home there, which was a relief to us all. It was overall a great home.

After looking at several different homes to place my mum. We chose Silver Birches. Due to the homeliness and warmth we felt from looking around, the staff all seemed amazing. And seemed as they generally care for each and every other service user there, my mum has now been there 5 months and we couldn't
have been happier to have chosen Silver Birches. It was such a difficult decision to have to place our mum in a home. But she's happy and most of all safe. The staff have all been amazing, the care is more than we could have asked for. Since being at Silver Birches my mum's mood has been great which was a concern as it was a new environment for her. We were there the past Saturday for a Mother's Day bingo and we all had a lovely time my mum most of all has been the happiest we have seen her. As a family, we appreciate everything the staff have done and continue to do.

My mum has been in the home since February 2023 and I can honestly say that the standard of care she is receiving is very good. The manager and staff are very attentive to her needs, the food at the home is also good in fact on my mum's 92nd birthday my wife and sister had a very nice lunch with her
and the home made a birthday cake and jelly and ice cream.
In my opinion and my family, we feel that she is well looked after and is happy and safe in Pine View care home and that is all we asked for.

My dad was in this care home for two weeks and almost had a breakdown. Needs updating and brightening up. He had his wallet go missing whilst here and never found, he was left to sit down all day with others and it was like he was just left waiting to die in a madhouse. The most awful experience I have
ever had and would not wish for anyone to go here. I was told they reported him to the police as he had left his room at night and entered another person's room confused? He has dementia. No details of police officers details were given just a first name?
Would not recommend to anyone.

Thank you for your feedback, which is factually incorrect. The reason your father was asked to leave is due to his aggressive behavior and attacking staff and residents. A safeguarding referral was…read more

My father has been here almost a year now and myself and the rest of the family cannot fault the Care Manager and The Pine View team they go above and beyond to make sure my father is happy and comfortable. My father is very happy whenever we visit and even with the passing of his wife they were so
helpful and supportive throughout the whole process.

The staff at Pine View are very caring, kind and attentive, they communicate with my dad well and always try to promote his independence, especially after a recent hospital admission where he was discharged, to be transferred by a hoist because the hospital did not encourage his mobility whilst he was
in there. Since he has returned staff at the home have prompted and encouraged little bits at a time with his mobility and is now back to his normal baseline. My dad feels safe and loves his room where he has been able to have his family pictures on the wall so he can look at his special memories and enjoys taking part in the daily activities. The relationship between staff and my dad is nice to see which reassures me that he is more than happy with his stay. Thank you.

My mum moved into Silver Birches at the end of November. All the staff have been very welcoming to Mum and have helped her settle down, making her and us feel very welcome. My mum likes her surroundings, especially her room, which we have been able to put pictures and ornaments in. My mum's eating improved
since she has been in Silver Birches. The staff are all friendly and myself and my siblings are made to feel welcome.

Small, friendly and clean.

Carers are on hand all the while. Mum likes the exercise and singing. She can go to bed when ready. Also the food is great - different every day.

The staff at Pine View are superb. My late mother was a resident for 5 years and could not have received better care. She had been living alone and was very independent but, when she reached 90 she became unsteady, frequently falling over and hurting herself. When it became apparent that the family
could no longer cope we took her to view a number of care homes and she chose Pine View because she felt it was more homely.
Her health, both physical and mentally, gradually deteriorated and her last 6 months were spent in bed. I was a frequent visitor and was always made welcome and found my mother well cared for. The staff not only cared for my mother they also cared about her and I believe that when she chose Pine View she chose wisely.
