Overall Experience
Always a warm welcome for visitors with lovely friendly staff including the Management Team. Care Staff are brilliant, going out of their way to keep Residents happy and families updated.

Badgers Wood is lovely and clean with good facilities. The food is good with a choice given each day. There is an impressive level of Activities daily for Residents to join in with, but its the staff that make it feel like 'one big family'.

Overall Experience

I would like to say how impressed we are with the staff, they are all very friendly and kind and will do anything. The management are brilliant. The food is very good. My family all think it is a very, very good care home.

The care & compassion shown towards my father every time I visit is second to none. My father doesnt do every activity on offer but the one he does do, he appears he really enjoy, the friendly staff have really enriched my dads life, I have nothing but positive things to talk about Badgers Wood, thank you to everybody involved.

Overall Experience
It's now almost a year that my wife has been here. During this time there has always been a great deal of care & respect given which has enabled her to settle in & feel comfortable & happy with her needs & welfare.
Myself, family & other visitors are all treated especially well and activities help daily routines become more enjoyable for everyone.
Management are always caring, understanding, approachable, always there to listen to problems or concerns. This gives me peace of mind and confidence knowing my wife is in 'good hands'

Other staff (nursing) are always so helpful, hardworking doing a very often hard tiring job but with much consideration. Other support staff are also excellant.

I would just like to say that Badgers Wood is the best care home that I've stayed in. The staff are so friendly and compassionate and caring. They have time for you if you need to talk. The food is great, so much choice. I hope when my time comes that I would be able to stay at Badgers Wood.

Can't praise the staff enough for their kindness and compassion.

Overall Experience

Mum was in hospital for a long time and couldn't return home. I looked around ten-plus care homes and none had the same feeling as Badgers Wood. I knew straight away Mum would love living here, all the staff are friendly and very approachable. There are always activities going on which keeps all the residents engaged. Mum reports that the food is very good and there's always a cup of tea on offer. There is a real sense of community here. I know Mum is happy and well cared for.

My mother has been a resident within this care home for around 9 years now.
She is now in the latter stages of Dementia.
Even though our mum doesn't know who we are anymore, I know for sure, 100%, that she is in good hands with the staff at Bungay House, and Mum seems to recognise them anyway, which is a relief for us, as we feel relieved that she seems happy and content when she sees them too!
We wouldn't want our Mum anywhere else, and the other residents in the home are all really lovely in their own way too.
The home is very warm and welcoming, and they also update on their social media page regularly with the activities etc, so we can see what Mum has been up to.

Bungay House is like no other care home. The staff go over and above the call of duty in every way. The building is not only beautiful but very homely. The food is delicious. The management are fantastic along with an informal open door policy. Ten plus out of ten!

My husband has settled in lovely.
Has his own room with tv, chair and fridge. With wash facilities too.
My husband is in his mid-40s. This is the third residential home we have tried. So far they have accommodated his every need as well as ours when we visit.
Just outside his room is a lounge with tv table and chairs and a sofa. We use this regularly for when I bring the young grandchildren to see Grandad.
The garden is lovely and secure.
Staff are friendly and lovely. Always asking if we need anything on arrival.
The food looks and smells lovely.
My husband has started to socialise with other residents and also go out to cinema and restaurants which is a huge achievement for him.

I am pleased he is settling in well. He’s been there a couple of months now.

I cannot thank management and staff enough for all the help and support that they have and still provide for Mum and also myself. Everyone always goes above and beyond. Excellent home, excellent staff and care. The home is always clean and smells lovely. Staff are also always so happy and bubbly. Would highly recommend.

My son seems very happy with his stay here at Bungay House. I don't need to worry about his care. He has good meals and joins in with outings and entertainment. My son has lived in three other accommodations and this is the best.

Overall Experience
This is a lovely care home, my uncle is very well looked after here. I feel very happy with the way he’s treated and looked after, the staff are very friendly and supportive towards my uncle and also when I go there to see him and have lunch. The food is very good and very nutritious. They have choices too.
They are good at communicating with me if there are any issues related to my uncle.

The staff here are so kind and caring. They do such a wonderful job, well done all.

When visiting my friend in the care home, staff have been polite and helpful. Resident seems to have been well looked after. There seems to have been plenty of activities. Generally good care by staff.

I have a good friend who's been living at Bungay House for a year now and he's the happiest and healthiest I've ever seen him.
The staff are lovely, as is the beautiful house and location.
The atmosphere is welcoming, happy and homely and my friend loves living there.
Various activities and trips are plenty and the food is good home cooking which I've sampled myself when invited for dinner.
Friends and family are welcome, at any time and having worked in social care for many years, I'm impressed by Bungay House.

It's a proper home.

All staff are good workers. Food is good. Activities offers are good. The lady who takes the activities is fun. The home is kept clean.

Overall, I would recommend Badgers Wood as a care home, safety and security.
