I have found Boldmere Court to be a homely and secure establishment for my brother. He has a pleasant room with en-suite facilities. The staff are friendly and very caring. Although his condition is causing some new challenges, the staff deal with the situation with kindness and dignity. I am confidence
that he is safe and well cared for, The management have a personal interest in their residents and for their well-being.

The first time I visited, I was so impressed with the care and facilities offered. Every time I have visited, the care and quality have been excellent. The very first impression, on arrival, is quiet, peaceful, nothing like a residential care nursing home, so efficient. The staff is excellent and caring,
for each individual patient is so special. It warms my heart to know there is this special home. Always top quality, always 5-star every time, and dedicated staff to be praised.

When we first visited The Village, it stood out from other Nursing homes. The atmosphere was friendly and warm. All staff, including the admin and management team, were hands-on in caring for residents and their families.
The whole team on the Birch floor did an amazing job initially in supporting
mom, always showing kindness and empathy, even when faced with challenging behaviour due to her complex dementia. Over the last three years, it always gave us peace of mind knowing that Mom was well looked after.
We recognise what it must take to run such a smooth operation. The Village has an amazing team at every level. We have always been greeted warmly. It is lovely that friends and family are welcome to visit residents in the relaxed atmosphere of the café area. They also run residents' meetings and a Dementia café where families can talk to others in the same position. Mom used to enjoy having her hair styled in Bluebells Salon by the activity staff. Excellent end of life care.

It's been a very worrying time while my Nan had been in this home.
The way she has been cared for has left me feeling shocked and heartbroken.
The staff are dishonest and show no care and empathy for patients dignity.
I was also refused entry at mealtimes to help encourage my Nan to eat. My Nan
is now back in hospital after their failings of providing the basics. Food and water.
Disgusting place.

Thankyou for your comments and as stated in the previous replies my door is always open for a meeting to discuss, taking data protection and compliance into account it would be good to come with the POA or documented next of kin. I held a meeting on the 9/6/25 however those who had concerns did not come, which was a shame as I feel if the meeting had been attended by more than 1 person (who was unaware why the meeting had been called) then we could have supported with any concerns. I am sorry you have not felt our care was up to your standards and my door is always open to discuss under the above circumstances. There is a manager on site Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Unfortunately I cannot put zero stars. This place comes across as clean and friendly... behind the scenes there is little patient care. My experience with a relative has been absolutely appalling. Unexplained injuries (bruises and skin tears), neglect of personal care, being left on a bed where they
couldn't even reach a drink, until their mood improves! Denial of supplements. Personal items missing, male attendants entering female patient rooms at night. If I could shut this place down today, I would. Don't be fooled peeps, check your relatives over, and often if they are in there!

Really disappointed with the care afforded to my relative. It has been exceptionally poor and unsafe to the point she has been re admitted to hospital. She has personal belongings missing, I will not comment too much as it is an open enquiry into the care provider here. Staff were dismissive, management
were unresponsive and practice is poor. I cannot believe what we have experienced as a family through this provider and absolutely zero compassion, respect in anything. Just glad we trusted our gut instinct and I hope Dudley Council unpick this to pieces.

How much looks can be deceiving. Trusted this care home with my mom. Thankfully now back in hospital safe and secure abd receiving the right care. Awful home, the care given to her by staff has been appalling in the short time she has been there. My mom is covered in bruises, and frightened from
this experience. Clothes lost, drinks not left in reach for her to reach, left on the bed, we repeatedly told staff that no male staff should enter her room or give personal care but this was not adhered to. Please check your loved ones if they are here, listen to them. This place needs investigating right now to stop anyone else going through what we have been through. I cannot score nil or minus, I would if I could they are not worthy of 1 star.

My nan stayed here after the hospital discharge. As a whole family we quickly realised this place was not for her as she did not receive support she needed. As per review policy I cannot go into to much details in case the review doesn't get published, but myself and other family members would not recommend
the care home and would advise family members to visit as often as possible.

Boldmere Court Care Home

After our father's sudden fall, he was hospitalised and paralysed. Soon after, he was diagnosed with aggressive cancer. He asked that we, his sons, be fully informed and explain his care to him. Though unaware he was nearing the end, he wanted us constantly by his side.

Honouring that wish was exhausting,

but we were determined. When he moved to Boldmere Court Care Home, we were welcomed as family. From day one, the staff showed genuine compassion and respect - to him and to us.

In his final week, we lived there. Nothing was too much trouble. Their kindness made an unbearable time more bearable. They cared for our father with dignity and love, and extended that same care to us.

We are deeply grateful!

All the Staff at Boldmere Court are great, really friendly and helpful. They treat the patients with the greatest respect. The Nurses know their jobs well and carry out their duties with full diligence. The home is kept very clean and, from what I have seen, the food and drinks are fine. I wouldn't
hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone.

Our uncle passed away at The Village on 8th December. He was passed from pillar to post by hospitals and care homes, but we are so grateful that his final resting place was with you. You eased his pain and treated him with humanity. He died peacefully in a caring environment. Your staff are fantastic
and we are grateful beyond words. You gave him back his dignity. Thank you so much.

We at The Village are proud to do what we do! But are privileged to meet and work with the residents and families we meet along the way. It was our honour to support you all within the process and work with you to have a good care home experience and to see we were much more than a home we are all a family.

I have frequently visited the home on multiple times per week for a few years now and I can honestly say from the moment you walk through the door the place is welcoming and a happy vibe greets you. The management staff are magnificent and the staff are always there if you need them. Staff are well
trained and you can tell that their main aim is to ensure residents are clean, happy and well looked after. I would recommend anyone who has negative comments about this place should really take a look at other care homes to recognise just how good The Village Nursing Home really is. I have visited many but none compare to this for care, kindness, and cleanliness. And very knowledgeable staff and management. Well done.
