The improvement has been noticeable since the last review. I have a better understanding of what is happening in the care home.
Satisfactory.
I am happy overall with the care and support the care home provides for my husband and myself. I feel all staff are approachable with any queries I have and I am always made to feel welcome. I visit my husband twice daily, and I enjoy my visits.
I have always found staff to be efficient, friendly and helpful. They have been kind and considerate to their residents and visitors without exception. The home is a modern, clean and comfortable place for all residents.
Staff very patient and caring.
This awareness of the big picture has proven invaluable. The staff and management at Moss Park took the time to give me the reassurance and support needed to better help myself as well as my father. In turn, this increased my confidence in the care given by Moss Park.
Excellent place with really nice and caring staff. Mum much improved since coming here. The staff keep me well informed of her condition. The food is excellent. The only downside is the amount it costs doesn't include things like toiletries.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review for Moss Park and your feedback will be shared with the team. Unfortunately, toiletries are not included in the cost of care and this should have been discussed with you prior to your loved one moving into the service and covered as part of the resident contract with the care home.
My husband seems to be well cared for. He is kept clean and tidy and his hair is cared for.
Great review, well looked after. Treated with dignity. The staff are very approachable and helpful. Good lines of communication, good at updating.
Pleasant surroundings, good care and excellent staff.
From the moment we visited Moss Park with a view to moving my mother from another care home we immediately felt that this was the perfect fit for her and we have been proven right. It has a homely, family feel and the staff are all amazing. Within a matter of days, the staff knew exactly who my mother was, what she enjoyed doing and what her interests were. Mum visibly relaxed as soon as she arrived where previously she had been very agitated and upset. Nothing is ever too much trouble, the care is second to none, everyone is always super busy but they still manage to do everything with a smile and a cheery disposition. We live on an island and so are unable to visit as much as we like which is hard but it makes it so much easier to bear knowing Mum is happy and in such good, caring hands. I would also say that the communication is fantastic.
My mum has been at Moss Park for 12 months now and I can say that in all that time she has been incredibly well looked after. The staff are lovely, friendly and competent. I have peace of mind that she is in the best place that fits with her needs.
We have found Moss Park to be the best thing to happen for our mum and family. The staff cannot do enough for our mum and have made her feel as at home as she could be. We are always made to feel welcome at any time we visit and have no worries approaching staff in anything. We are very lucky they could take our mum at a very difficult time and it’s been a pleasure to see the improvement in her despite a devastating diagnosis of dementia.
My Father has been a resident in Mosspark for several years now. He failed to settle in any of the previous homes he was in and is now happy and content in Moss Park. He is well cared for and he thoroughly enjoys the food and there is plenty for him to take part in if he wishes. This is reassuring for me as I don’t live locally. The manager and staff are easy to contact if I have any queries and they also are quick to get in touch with me as needed. I would recommend Moss Park to anyone looking to have a family member to be cared for in a homely and caring environment.
My dad has been in Moss Park since April 2023. On arrival the staff couldn’t have been any better in getting my dad settled in and getting him involved in activities, getting out in the garden, out for a run in the bus and on the bike around the village which he enjoys. All the staff are great, friendly, very welcoming always ask if you’d like tea etc on visiting. Always very clean and tidy and the gardens are lovely too. I’d just like to thank everyone at Moss Park for taking great care of my dad.

A lovely centre, with a wonderful, warm, welcoming, and friendly staff, and I look forward to placing my mother in their care in the future.
My wife loves to spend time with other patients and she just adores the staff that look after her. She might not always have the ability or patience to say thank you. So hear it from me, thank you!
When we find it difficult or simply impossible to give our loved ones the care they require, it is very difficult to hand that responsibility to strangers. So I cannot adequately express my thanks to everyone at Mosspark for not being ‘strangers’ and for looking after my sister x
Non-compliance to provide formal complaint details. Extremely rude staff and very argumentative regarding appropriate care. Staff prefer to sit around and chat amongst themselves and eat food than attend to residents in their care.
They took great care of residents throughout the pandemic which was a relief. There are plenty of activities done with residents in and out of the home/garden. Staff have a great rapport with residents, which creates a wonderful atmosphere. The staff/manager keep you updated. There's a Social Media page to see pictures and it's not available except to residents' families which is reassuring. Keep up the good work.
