Croham Place supports service users who have a Neuro degenerative condition and mental health diagnosis and behaviours at times that may challenge the service. Care Home with Nursing, therefore 24 hour nursing support is available. Service users will have ranging needs from support/management with PEG care/catheter care/urostomy & colostomy management/pain management linked to palliative care/tissue viability care.
The Manor: Working age males and females (typical) who may need an adapted environment due to their physical needs.
The Beeches: A dedicated female only service which can support those who’s challenging behaviours and risks could make them vulnerable in a mixed service. The unit is equipped to support individuals with physical health needs, mental health conditions, neurological disorders (such as Dementia, Huntington’s Disease, Korsakoff’s Syndrome, and Alzheimer’s Disease), complex needs, and challenging behaviours. The service caters to those transitioning from community care to nursing care or stepping down from general or mental health hospitals. The Beeches can support individuals with a forensic history or those subject to community treatment orders, conditional discharges, or Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
The Nightingales: Working age adults (male) who have an Acquired Brain Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury, most likely coupled with an identified Mental Health diagnosis. All service users present with behaviours which at times may challenge the service.
