Enjoy walking in the garden. Fairly happy but much nicer than being in the bungalow. Enjoy the trips on the bus. Have made lots of nice friends. Would like more activities especially singers as I love dancing. The genealogy activity was really enjoyable and was sad when it didn't happen anymore....

My career has taken me from clinical nursing and hospital leadership into domiciliary care, clinical quality, regional management and, for the last 19 years, senior leadership within care homes. I also hold an MBA in Economics and Management.
Throughout my career, I have successfully led care homes, developed strong teams and championed high standards of quality, safety and person-centred care. I have been fortunate to receive numerous awards, but the one closest to my heart was in 2024, when my team nominated me as their Role Model. This meant more to me than any other recognition because it came from the people I had the privilege of leading.
