My family friend went there last year with Dementia, and I'm visiting him a couple of times per week. I must say that all staff members are very attentive, always willing to help, I trust them all and I can be sure that he is safe out there. Must consider specially Lenka, the Lead Nurse, she's totally dedicated to all residents, patient, compassionate, very adaptable to all the challenges she's facing in there. I'm impressed. I'd recommend this care home 100%.
Thank you for your kind review. We're very pleased to hear that your family friend is receiving attentive and compassionate care. Your recognition of our team, especially Lenka, is truly appreciated. We remain committed to providing the highest standard of support.
Sunbridge Care Home Management Team.
He came into the care bed bound approximately 7 weeks ago. Since then he is walking with support and has put on some weight also. His joined in the day activities which includes dancing (he used to love to dance with my mum, good to see him participating with the team here)
Thank you for your positive feedback. We are pleased to hear that your father has made such encouraging progress since joining us. It is wonderful to know he is now able to walk with support, had gained weight and is enjoying taking part in activities, including dancing.

The manager is a genuinely good and caring person - always friendly, approachable, and ready to help with anything. It's clear that they care deeply about both the residents and the staff, and it really shows in the warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.
Lenka is absolutely lovely - always smiling, kind, and attentive. She has such a gentle, thoughtful way with residents that makes everyone feel special and cared for.
All the workers there deserve praise too - they work so hard and treat every resident with patience, dignity, and respect. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my friend is in such a supportive and loving environment.

From the moment I stepped into this care home, I knew it was something special. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of kindness. Poonam, the manager, has been so caring and empathetic, guiding us through a very difficult time and supporting us every step of the way. All the staff go above and beyond to care for the residents. My dad is always clean, well dressed, and comfortable, and his room is always tidy. The activities are fun, stimulating, and inclusive for families, helping us stay connected. Lenka, my dad's key worker, has been our rock - a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, and a safe, loving presence for my dad. We are so grateful for the compassion, patience, and dedication shown by everyone. Knowing my dad is cared for by such kind people gives us real peace of mind.
Thank you so much for your beautiful words.

The staff at Sunbridge are kind and treat my husband with great respect and dignity. They work hard to ensure he is safe and happy. The meals are well-prepared and the food is excellent. The management and staff arranged a BBQ for the residents and their families. Although the weather was not too kind, the management and staff bent over backwards to make sure that an 'inside BBQ' would be just as good as an outside one. The food was impeccable with lots to choose from. The staff dressed in their traditional outfits which was really good to see as I usually see them in their care home uniforms. They kept us all entertained with the help of the DJ. My Mum had a wonderful time and I could see that other residents also enjoyed themselves. Thank you for all your hard work in making the BBQ a success. As always, I am so grateful for the continued kindness, empathy and hard work that everyone at Sunbridge carries out every day. Roll on next year's BBQ.
All staff at Sunbridge Care Home are very friendly and helpful and always let me know how Dad is doing health-wise and in general, which is really good of them.
I thought the manager and another member of staff were really lovely people and really helped me make arrangements with my dad when he had to go into respite for a short-term stay. My father was well looked after, and I wish he could stay here, but he just can't afford the weekly rate. Grateful I can do temporary respite when needed too. My dad was looked after, which was the main thing as I could relax knowing that.
The staff at Sunbridge Care Home were always full of kindness to my mother-in-law, even though she could be very difficult. The care home was always clean and fresh, and so were the patients. She was well fed and recovered quickly after a hip operation. She still remembers the Chinese New Year party - she loved the dancing and singing.
Staff at home gave excellent help and aid to my brother.
My dad was a resident at Sunbridge from May 20 until his death in October 21. He was there throughout the pandemic, and the staff and carers became his family during the "no visit" restrictions. He was well cared for and seemed happy during trying circumstances. Sadly, he passed away in October 21, I can only praise the whole staff for the care that he received in his final weeks, but especially his last days, they were kind and compassionate to Dad and also to his family, something which we are extremely grateful for.
Thank you for your kind comments about our care team. We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback for Sunbridge Care Home. We understand how upsetting it must have been, and are so pleased you felt that our team lived up to expectations and treated your dad with dignity and the compassion...
The staff have been caring, responsive, organised, friendly, always taking time for patients and their families. Care is obviously their number one priority to the residents and families to have the best possible experience.
Very caring and helpful staff members made his stay pleasant. They helped my dad a lot with his self-care, washing and shaving. He was always clean, so was his room/bedding.
Thank you for letting us know how we are doing at Sunbridge Care Home. The care and wellbeing of every resident is our number one priority, and it is rewarding to have such positive feedback about how we are doing.
Compassionate, caring, attentive, friendly, and professionally competent. A fine team, well managed, and a happy environment.
The care home staff provide a very home-like and friendly service. They look after patients with gentle care and assure of the patient's safety first.
