In the time Dad has been in Cameron House Care Home all the staff have been excellent. The carers and cleaning staff have always tried to help Dad! The only complaint I have is the food has been below the previous care home. Some days are ok but generally, Fridays are very poor, chicken breast (which is dry and tough) seems to be served four or five times over a two-week period! I have had to bring in food to Dad so he can have something to eat.
The improvement in my mother is very high in a very short time. The management and staff are excellent and I feel so much better knowing my mother has people like herself who she mixes with all the time. The cleanliness and food are also of a very high standard. Would recommend to anybody who was looking for a lovely home for their parents.
During lockdown, I had no worries as I knew Mum was being looked after so well, I would call regular and get an honest update.
I would recommend Cameron House to anyone looking for a care home. Mum has been happy and content since she arrived in September last year.
Nothing but praise for all the staff. So dedicated, doing great and going above and beyond. Thank you is not enough for what you are doing. Look forward to some sort of normal soon.
Thank you.
Although I have not been able to visit Mum because of lockdown, I have been in constant contact by telephone both with the carers and Mum. I know that she has been well cared for, especially during these difficult times.
Since she has been in the home she has been happy and she has company. She is well looked after by the staff. I know she is safe.
I find the care at the care home very good and staff always very helpful and ready to answer any queries I may have.
In the last year and a half that my dad has been a resident, all staff have cared and looked after him very well. In regards to communication with shift changeovers, I think this is a bit lapse at times, also haveing to chase up visits from doctors regarding Dads medications. Overall, the staff make it a happy environment for my dad to be in. I, myself, get on so well with all of the staff.
I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at Cameron House. The love, care and professionalism they have shown through the coronavirus situation has gone beyond the call of duty. I have so much admiration for them all and would not fail to recommend Cameron House to others. Even before the coronavirus happened, they were all still a credit to your company.
My grandad has only just recently moved to this care home. He's been in a couple, this is the first time he's told us he likes a place. We are so happy for him and cannot wait to get back to see him when this is all over, keep up the great work guys.
The staff at Cameron house went above and beyond for my granddad who sadly passed away last month they made sure he was well looked after cared for him above what they had to do and even looked after me and my family the staff deserve so much thank you so much for you did for me and my family.
I am so happy with Cameron House. They look after my Mum very well. Staff are always on hand and willing to help. Food excellent. Very pleased all round.
Respite at Cameron House became permanent and mum has changed so much. She has become more independent again, eating well and her mood has improved in such a short time. Care at Cameron House is excellent and friendly.
I will pass these positive comments on to our team, kindest regards.
Mum has been in this care home for 4 months now and she is completely bedridden but the staff are very good at turning her and administering drinks every few hours. It is just a shame she is stuck in her room all day and unable to interact with other residents. I believe the staff make time to sit with her though and appreciate this.
I will pass these reviews on to our staff.
Very good care home. Well pleased with the care my friend gets.
I will pass these lovely comments on to our team.
With the number of dementia cases, they need more staff.
Staff are friendly and hard-working, kind and considerate. Food is excellent.
The furniture in the lounge could do with updating but this is Larkswood and the standard of care is more important.
I will pass these kind words onto our team
My mother has only been at Cameron House since November 2017 but I have been pleasantly surprised by the care and concern and professionalism of the staff.
Any queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently. There is a pleasant atmosphere in the home and my mother has been helped with her personal care by the staff with cheerfulness and dignity. The home is always kept clean and fresh.
Thank you for your kind words we will pass them on to our team
My mother has lived in this care home for quite a number of years. Over this time she has been cared for by interested well-educated staff in an encouraging atmosphere. My brothers and I certainly think she has lived well and for so long because of the care she receives.
