The staff are always contactable and very friendly and helpful. We have been able to resolve issues with Mum when we have been unable to see her. They monitor her general and mental health and keep us informed. We are very content with this care home and the staff.

My husband has been at Park View just over a year and suffers from Parkinson's and Dementia. My daughter and I visited several homes but were impressed with Park View, there was one vacancy and we took it, and to say we hit the jackpot is an understatement. My husband receives excellent care from all the staff who are warm, loving and extremely caring and we are always welcomed and made to feel we too belong to this extended family and nothing is ever too much trouble. We are always kept fully informed and no matter which member of staff I see, they are always able to tell me how my husband is doing and seem to know him so well.
During this present difficult lockdown, they have managed to keep everyone safe, which speaks volumes, while putting in place technology to enable face to face contact to be kept. Amazing.

I cannot sing their praises highly enough and will never be able to thank them enough for making me feel secure in the knowledge my husband is safe and well cared for. That feeling is priceless!

I wanted to put on record how happy I have been with the care and professionalism shown by all the staff at Park View, during the Coronavirus Pandemic. It is very much to their credit that at the time of writing, they have not had a single case of COVID-19 within the care home, given the terrible situation some care homes in the UK have experienced. Park View stopped all visits at the outset of the pandemic and from what my mother has said, have been vigilant throughout this time in monitoring the health of the patients closely. I also received a reassuring letter from the management at the start of May which put things into perspective for me. Well done to the team - you are doing a great job and deserve recognition for this.

My Mum has dementia and has been at Park View for over a year now and despite being the hardest decision we had to make it was also the best. My brother and I visited many care homes before choosing Park View and it is way above the standards of others. The staff are friendly and welcoming and all work hard to ensure Mum's well being. They are also easy to talk to and have done all they can to ensure we can continue to communicate with Mum during this lockdown. Most importantly of all, I trust the staff with Mum and her care, I've not once regretted our decision to choose Park View and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for somewhere to look after their relative.

In September 2019, it became apparent our 85-year-old father could no longer be my mother's carer. My father and I visited Park View and were impressed at how friendly everyone was and how many activities go on during each day. One of the carers taking us around said 'Guests come here to Live not to just Exist' and that is so true. Mum has dementia and was admitted in September 2019 and we as a family have been very pleased with the care mum has received. This has never been more apparent than the situation we all find ourselves in now. Park View made the very difficult decision to go into lockdown on the 12th March 2020 knowing it was going to stop relatives seeing their loved ones. This was eleven days before the national lockdown. It was the best decision they made, as yet, they haven't had one case of Covid-19. We fully respect their decision and will support them for as long as it takes. They give us updates regarding Mum and always ask after my father and wish him well.

I can visit my Mum any time of the day and the staff are always welcoming. Mum, who has dementia, has been there for nearly seven years now, having become a resident when my brother became too ill to look after her in his home anymore. She has been very well looked after at Park View and is happy there.

Park View care home is a fine example of a well-run care home with no exception during this Coronavirus epidemic. All the care workers and staff have looked after my mum and all the other residents without a thought for their own safety for which I thank them all.

Although I cannot visit her during this time, they are keeping me well informed of her health and well-being.

I was a mess two years ago when I had to make the decision to put my friend in a care home.

The assistant manager was great. She reassured me and was very patient and understanding. Over the last two years my friend was treated very well and was made to feel very comfortable and cared for. Thank you to all the staff and management for their care and support.

Our mother was a resident in Park View for 18 months during which time the staff were extremely understanding, caring and supportive of her needs. At times, mum was reluctant to comply with necessary events (visit from hairdresser, necessary pedicure attention etc) as her Alzheimer's reduced her ability to reason and understand her situation. The staff were great! They also respected her need to walk and escape the confines of her room, enabling her to enjoy a measure of freedom within a friendly, warm and companionable environment. They were also very supportive to us. They helped us understand our loss as we saw the alert, intelligent, capable and independent person fade as the disease took over. Thank you to everyone. We could never have managed without you!
