Brookvale House is a 35-bed care home registered for persons who do not require nursing care. 22 rooms have a WC ensuite, with the remaining 13 rooms having a sink in the room. Each bedroom has individually controlled heating and access to television points.

The home has benefited from the creation of additional lounge areas that allow residents to spend time in a variety of social and quiet areas. It also allows areas of privacy outside of a resident’s bedroom where they can have a nice quiet conversation over tea with their visitors. We have been very impressed with mums care and she has been very happy at Brookvale, she has often commented on how kind the staff are and how well she's looked after. But sadly due to mum's mobility and extra needs now she has had to move to a nursing home which we are really sad about but will never
forget Brookvale and the wonderful staff.

My mum and dad are both at Brookvale House. They have been amazing at settling mum into the home. the staff are approachable and management are very aware of my mum's needs. The manager is very compassionate.

My mother-in-law has only been at Brookvale three weeks, and she has come on leaps and bounds. It is a lovely care home. The staff are great, and there's always someone on hand to reassure you. Would highly recommend this lovely care home.

My mum seems really happy there. She likes most of the staff. When I visited, she was well presented, and her room was very clean and tidy. She likes the food and snacks. She has settled in well and does not ask to come home now.

The care my wife received in the 3 years she was there was really fantastic in all areas by all the staff day and night. The staff were always so caring and friendly. Not only to the resident but the families as well. I could not be more happier with Brookvale House.

Visited Mum face to face for the first time since garden and window visits. Absolutely fab! Staff were kind and caring to us all. Very organised visit, excellent protection for all. The staff were very helpful and organised. So pleased my mum is here and safe in this Covid time! Even got to hug her!

Easy move into care home life for Mum. Great caring staff and nothing is too much trouble. Lots to keep Mum busy and entertained. A bright, airy home with a great garden. Quiet lounges, busy TV lounge and one to take your guests to. Mum's room is a very good size and is bright and comfortable.
