What can I say, but on arrival you are always greeted with a smile and hello while my mother-in-law was there she was treated extremely well. She was a very strong-willed, stubborn lady but they dealt with her letting her try and do things beyond her capabilities. All staff are friendly, caring, hardworking
and cheerful in what is a very hard environment to be in, most of the residents are challenging to say the least (I have seen many times) but their patience is faultless. Thank you to all the staff I will miss them.

My mother has been having respite care and love whilst we did work on her house. She was welcomed and made to feel secure and safe. The cheerful and helpful staff met all her needs with care and compassion. I am very grateful to everyone at the home.

Mum's been here for about five years, and throughout that time, I have been impressed by the level of care she has received. I reported a TV fault in my father's room and provided feedback on why he might be suffering from constipation (not drinking enough water or eating sufficient roughage/vegetables). A staff member scribbled down a message on a desk calendar - not very professional. Staff always seemed rushed, especially
management. The doctor and other non-British care staff fully understand the cultural heritage of residents and are able to support them in this regard.

This home has a very caring attitude and is always clean and well kept. The staff are helpful and always try to fulfil my father's needs. There are several activities which my father has enjoyed participating in; such as the craft sessions and the sing-a-longs. The food is always hot and tasty, and
we have been welcomed to eat with him on many occasions. Overall, very pleased with his care here.

Mum spent 4 weeks as a respite. The home helped to get her back to herself. The staff are excellent and very kind and helpful.

I have visited a resident for the last few months, I have been welcomed by all staff. They are very hospitable and very caring to the residents. Such a lovely bunch - I would love to visit each week, I have loved my Fridays, keep up the great work you do.

I was most impressed by the welcome I received when I visited Heath Lodge this morning. The two ladies at reception had in-depth knowledge of my friend's condition and how she had settled in after her arrival a week ago. My friend has settled in to her new home and I can see the friendliness and courtesy
of the staff I met will flow into the care given to residents.

My father had a nasty fall and was referred from A&E for some respite care to help him get back on his feet again. From the moment a place was found for him at Heath House the management and all their staff were absolutely wonderful. My father spent 3 weeks at Heath Lodge to get this mobility back and
in that time he received excellent care and help with every need. All the staff, from management, nurses, carers and carers who served meals were all fantastic and friendly all the time. Thank you!

My mum and dad spent a couple of months at Heath Lodge and I can honestly say the care they received was beyond my expectations. Heath Lodge is a clean, bright place to be. Residents benefit from personalised rooms, an extensive activity programme including visiting musical acts and a choice of high
quality fresh cooked meals. The standard of carers are lead by the home management team and filters through to all levels of staff.
We visited regularly during their stay and always felt welcome and never saw care levels fall.
I would recommend Heath Lodge to anyone who wants their loved ones to be safe and cared for when they can no longer manage this for themselves.

I cannot express my gratitude enough, this is a care home that truly lives up to the name. Management, nurses, all support staff, in fact, everyone I came into contact with was prepared to go the extra mile. The team on the Primrose unit, in particular, deserve medals for their unwavering care and
good humour, always smiling and ready to chat. I saw them acting with kindness and respect with all their patients including some very confusing long term cases. My father was in the Primrose unit for three weeks of respite care after a fall. He arrived in a wheelchair but I’m happy and amazed to report that he left on his own two feet to continue his recovery at home... not many 91-year-olds get to do that. My humble thanks to everyone at Heath Lodge.
