Mum spent 4 weeks as a respite. The home helped to get her back to herself. The staff are excellent and very kind and helpful.

I have visited a resident for the last few months, I have been welcomed by all staff. They are very hospitable and very caring to the residents. Such a lovely bunch - I would love to visit each week, I have loved my Fridays, keep up the great work you do.

I was most impressed by the welcome I received when I visited Heath Lodge this morning. The two ladies at reception had in-depth knowledge of my friend's condition and how she had settled in after her arrival a week ago. My friend has settled in to her new home and I can see the friendliness and courtesy of the staff I met will flow into the care given to residents.

My father is happy with his accommodation and the quality of food he is enjoying. We are happy with the standard of care he receives. We have found the staff to be caring and we are kept informed of any and every change of his needs, moods and circumstances.

My father had a nasty fall and was referred from A&E for some respite care to help him get back on his feet again. From the moment a place was found for him at Heath House the management and all their staff were absolutely wonderful. My father spent 3 weeks at Heath Lodge to get this mobility back and in that time he received excellent care and help with every need. All the staff, from management, nurses, carers and carers who served meals were all fantastic and friendly all the time. Thank you!

I was very pleased with the care given to my husband, who left comfortable and happy with the staff and surroundings. My thanks to all concerned for looking after him and welcoming in visiting family.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed by the reception. I found everyone working here caring, helpful and efficient. Very impressed with the standard of care.

I would recommend Heath Lodge to anyone who wants their loved ones to be safe and cared for when they can no longer manage this for themselves.

I cannot express my gratitude enough, this is a care home that truly lives up to the name. Management, nurses, all support staff, in fact, everyone I came into contact with was prepared to go the extra mile. The team on the Primrose unit, in particular, deserve medals for their unwavering care and good humour, always smiling and ready to chat. I saw them acting with kindness and respect with all their patients including some very confusing long term cases. My father was in the Primrose unit for three weeks of respite care after a fall. He arrived in a wheelchair but I’m happy and amazed to report that he left on his own two feet to continue his recovery at home... not many 91-year-olds get to do that. My humble thanks to everyone at Heath Lodge.

The carers have dealt with my father on his good days and bad days and I'm very grateful for their support - not only for my father but my mother.

Came in to see Dad today and immediately noticed a difference. The decoration was always clean and tidy but there are now some nice homely touches. Ornaments on the wall, vases, wallpaper, etc. Not tacky but tastefully done! Residents are always given great care, now it's like walking around dad's home. Which of course it is! A year in and dad is as happy as ever. Well done Heath Lodge.

My mother was admitted to Heath Lodge early December 2018 as she now needs 24-hour care. I am pleased to report that the management and staff have made a great deal of effort in caring for her and helping her settle into her new home.

I knew the care home was taking good care of my relative when she told me she was very happy in the home. Even though she had dementia she was aware enough to know the staff were loving and kind. She had her 100th birthday at the home and it was lovely - telegrams, balloons, lovely cake and an entertainer who held her hand and sang to her. She loved it. Thank you Heath Lodge staff for all your love and kindness towards my loved one.

My experience with Heath Lodge care home was one of very good. Very helpful and friendly staff. My dad was very happy with all the care given to him. The atmosphere here was so warm and caring. Thank you to all at Heath Lodge for their high standards.

My sister-in-law has been in Heath Lodge for 3 years. She loved the home and all the carers, last week she died and all the staff went above and beyond to help make my life easier. You are very lucky to have such caring wonderful people working for you.

I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to friends and family.

She also often has a long wait to be hoisted on to the toilet due to the lack of available/free staff, the hoist often resulting in torn clothing as well as discomfort. Her main complaint, however, is the choice and quality of the food.

Our friend is very happy here and the staff have been excellent in helping him feel at home. The staff are very caring and nothing stops them in giving sensitive care.

We appreciate that the home has helped our friend settle down and not be worried with the day to day challenges of caring for himself.
