Your fees cover several areas while in their care.
These services are: Personal care, accommodation,
utilities, use of communal areas, meals, drinks and
snacks, laundry (excluding dry cleaning),
housekeeping, maintenance and activities run by the
home.
Services NOT included in price are: dentistry, chiropody,
physiotherapy, occupational therapy, opticians, hairdressing,
medications, toiletries, clothing, newspapers/magazines.
During your stay, you may need to purchase additional goods
and services. If they are able to provide such goods and
services, they will tell you how much these goods and services
will cost and they expect that you will pay for these goods and
services at the time you request them.
They can accompany loved ones to private appointments,
however the fee attached to this is £21 per hour. Where private taxi
services are used for transportation to appointments the cost should
be paid for by yourself.

If you chose a care home based in England, you may be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC), which helps cover the cost of nursing. This is worth £254.06 per week and is usually paid directly to the care home.

Laura Beadle - Laura has over 12 years of experience in Residential and Nursing care settings. Laura currently holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and is currently working towards her Level 5 in Leadership and Management within Health and Social Care. Laura was previously the Head of Care here at Henry Cornish, since 2019, before being promoted to Home Manager.
Laura really enjoys working for OSJCT and has done so for the last 4 and a half years. Laura says, ''I love making a difference to people’s lives and being able to do this day to day within my job brings me joy. Being a Manager for OSJCT means that I can lead a team and promote a fun, welcoming and safe environment. I am looking forward to the challenges that this role brings and I want to bring my team, residents and their loved ones along this journey with me.''
Michelle has been a part of the Henry Cornish Team for over 10 years now and has been promoted to Head of Care, working her way from a carer to Care Leader and now Head of Care. Michelle Helps staff with their training and has an open door for them if they need anything. Michelle will always try and help swap shifts etc. to help the staff out.
When not at work Michelle likes walking, she climbed Snowdon a few years ago and is looking forward to walking more mountains in the near future. Family is everything to Michelle and has grown up children and grandchildren plus her beloved cat KITKAT !!"
