The home offers tailored, friendly residential and dementia care. Facilities include dining areas, comfortable lounges, a library, a hairdressing salon and a bar area. Thameside has private gardens with safe paths, raised beds, and plenty of seating.
Staff at Thameside are trained in dementia care and receive ongoing training to keep their knowledge of best practice up to date. Digital care plans are arranged with input from residents and loved ones. These plans are bespoke for each resident to ensure care needs are met and to include preferences and interests.
Engaging activities are arranged with resident input, both in groups and one-to-one. These include gentle exercise to support residents' physical and mental wellbeing. Menus change seasonally and are cooked from fresh wholesome ingredients. Alternatives are always available.

I would like to say when you walk through the door you think wow this is homely. The staff are very good and think about things and pictures the best for the home. I find the manager very pleasant. I think he is a very kind helpful man and has dona very good job here. All the staff here are lovely...
