Located in a peaceful residential area, Glennfield is a purpose-built care home in the historic market town of Wisbech, near the royal estate of Sandringham in Norfolk.

A dedicated and experienced team provides respite and long-term care, including residential, dementia, nursing, nursing dementia, and end-of-life care. The compassionate team takes time to understand each individual’s life story, aspirations, and preferences, ensuring a truly person-centred approach to care, wellbeing, activities, and meals.

Glennfield offers a warm and engaging environment, fostering a strong sense of belonging. A Lifestyle Coordinator works with residents and their families to provide a variety of enriching opportunities, allowing individuals to participate as much as they wish.

The home is divided into six care suites, each featuring bright, stylish dining and living areas, creating a comfortable and social setting. Every suite includes a self-contained kitchenette, enabling the people who live at the home to prepare their own breakfast or snacks, while visitors are always welcome.

At the heart of the home is a vibrant coffee shop, a popular social hub hosting activities such as card games and knitting groups. It is also a welcoming space for residents to meet with family over coffee and homemade cake. Special bar events, organised in partnership with Elgoods Brewery, are always well attended and enjoyed.

I am so grateful to Glennfield management and staff on the Bluebell ward for caring for my father in the last few weeks of his life. They understood his particular needs and their care and attention were beyond my expectations. I could live each day knowing he was in safe hands. The respect shown to

My mum came to Glennfield Care Home in January 2023 and since that day it’s changed our lives, Mum's and us, her family. Mum previously spent six months in a care home which didn’t meet her needs. Since coming to Glennfields the change in Mum is clear to see, she’s happy and settled and her health has
improved in so many ways. All the staff are welcoming and the care they give is amazing and we would like to say a big thank you for looking after Mum and the peace of mind it gives us. Thank you.

My nan has been with Glennfield Care Home for about a year and she was really happy, she made loads of friends. The staff are really friendly and made Nan's last moments peaceful. Nothing was ever too much for them to do, they went above and beyond their duty of care. If anyone is thinking about putting

My mum has been a resident at Glennfield since November 2022 after having a spell in the hospital, we, as a family, had to make a hard decision about where Mum would go after her hospital stay. Mixed emotions about her well-being and whether she would be looked after properly, anxious, scared and worried
but say no more, we found Glennfield.
From the start after our look-around tour, we knew in our hearts Glennfield is where we wanted Mum to go and we would fight to the end until she got there...clean, tidy and didn't feel like a care home. We were greeted by friendly staff who answered all our questions.
All the staff we have come across are wonderful, polite, caring and nothing is too much trouble.
They treat Mum with respect and with a caring nature.
She loves it there and has settled in so well, they treat Mum as family.
Love seeing all the photos and the trips they go on are fab.
Best decision we made, I feel so much better coming away now knowing Mum is being looked after and the kids love visiting Nanny as well.

My father-in-law has been living in Glennfield since 2017. When he was more active, he loved to join in the events, and we loved the pictures supplied by the home. He liked to use the hair salon and the garden seats. However, his dementia has slowly advanced and he has moved through the units with this
progression, he is 'end of life' now but all the way through this 6-year journey Glennfield have kept him healthy, safe, and always treated as an individual with dignity and respect.


The staff and nurses are amazingly kind and helpful, I can't think of a better place for an unwell family member to live. Dementia is a 24/7 disease, I believe that the best, safest, kindest place for a beloved family member is in the safe 24/7 care of trained, experienced, dedicated staff.


We are very grateful to Glennfield for their continuing care.

I recently visited a friend of mine at Glennfield. I had such a warm welcome from the receptionist and the manager, they helped me to sign in etc. went to the ward to see my friend and the staff are so friendly and welcoming everyone saying hello and chatting to me. The home is a very nice place with
a warm and comfortable feel plus very clean. A big thumbs up from me.

I just wanted to take a moment to express our and our whole family's appreciation and admiration for the way in which you continue to care for my father. As Dad is now quite advanced in his illness, his needs seem to become more complex by the day and therefore his need for skilled, compassionate and
dedicated medical care increases along with that complexity.
I want you all to know how grateful we are for the amazing level of care you provide for Dad. He has been with you for so many years now that you have essentially become family to him and in all those years we have never had a moment's doubt that you care for him as if he is, indeed, a part of your family. The staff at Glennfield Care Home are amazing, especially on Bluebell they have an amazing team who always appear to work so well together and nothing is ever too much trouble for them, they are fabulous, and they always have a lovely smile and treat my mum so kindly and look after her as best as they
can under the circumstances they have to face, it's so nice to know she's in safe hands with them. Mum doesn't tend to go to many of the activities (which is the polar opposite to what she would've been like pre-dementia) but when she does there is always a nice photo on social media and she looks to be enjoying herself, thank you to whoever goes to the effort of putting all the pics and activities on social media, you do a great job too. Thank you again.

The level of care, kindness and friendship Mum received at Glennfield during the two years and two months she lived there was second to none. The staff really knew her and ensured all her needs were met. She was always treated with respect and dignity. The staff supported both Mum and the family throughout
difficult times. We cannot thank the staff enough for the excellent kindness and care they gave to Mum throughout her time at Glennfield Care Home.

You may think ticking excellent for every box is a bit over the top, however, compared to the three previous homes my husband has stayed in, Glennfield exceeds in every aspect of his care. At last, I finally have total peace of mind and that means so much to me.

From the moment Mum went in I could see the professionalism throughout the nursing home, with every member of staff always treating Mum with respect and consideration. My Aunt stayed at Glennfield for a period of respite and had an excellent stay. She needed to be in a care home for a while after being in hospital, and she has said that she would return for respite if needed as everyone was so helpful and kind.

Jan Davison

Job Title: Home Manager

Jan’s journey in the healthcare sector began straight after leaving school, driven by a deep passion for helping others. She started as a Dental Nurse, gaining experience in both NHS and private practices, before discovering her true calling in health and social care. Beginning as a carer, she quickly progressed into management, always striving to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.


Throughout her career, Jan has taken on a variety of roles, working in care homes, community care, extra care, and housing. She has also shared her knowledge by delivering training and supporting teams across the country as a regional manager.


Although she took a short break to explore the hospitality industry, her heart has always been in care—a field where her dedication and compassion continue to shine.

Sarah Bull

Job Title: Care Manager Joined: 2008

Sarah became the Care Manager at Glennfield Care Centre in 2008 and has many years’ experience of working in the care home environment.
Sarah has an NVQ 4 in Care Management, an intermediate certificate in Health and Safety and has undertaken many workshops in various care related subjects.
Sarah is responsible for the running of the home in the absence of the Manager.

Nicoleta Bunting

Job Title: Clinical Lead

Nicoleta qualified as a Nurse in Romania in 1997. She worked in different healthcare settings, from hospitals to community care and lots of other places in between.


She moved over to the UK to continue her nursing career in 2014 and has been working at Glennfield Care Home ever since. Now as the Clinical Lead, Nicoleta strives to ensure Glennfield Care Home continues to be a safe, happy place where people live a fulfilled life.
