Overall Experience
I phoned before visiting, took a Covid test and wore a mask. I also asked if the care home was wheelchair friendly. I was told it was but there was no wheelchair ramp.
The care home is small and friendly and there is no nasty smell or anything obviously trying to cover up a nasty smell. Mum was in the common room watching TV and was able to walk to her own room. Her room was rather ‘tired’ looking and in need of modernisation but clean and tidy with her own sink and toilet and a view out onto the garden. Mum was very happy that a cat occasionally came to visit. Mum is very happy there and the care home is in a nice setting and on one floor. I didn’t get to speak to any of the staff.

I think this care home should keep it’s social media and online pages up to date as I couldn’t find any recent photographs. Also, the prices quoted are out of date which could be rather misleading to any potential families looking for a suitable home. I can’t really comment on many of the questions below.
