The whole team at York House succeed in delivering an excellent level of care while offering a sense of friendship to the residents. The kindness and respect shown to the vulnerable person for whom we were all working together will always be appreciated. I can attest to a very noticeable improvement
in health and happiness.
During the adaptation period, the team made every effort to create a sense of home from home in the surroundings. I have no doubt this is the reason for the successful start of a new life. Having visited numerous care providers in Norfolk I have no doubt that we made the best choice. Deciding to move a loved one to a care home can often be difficult. However, any doubt I may have had regarding this decision has been eradicated due to the exemplary care, communication and advice we have received which has gone beyond my expectations.

For the past six months, I have been visiting York house. I have been very impressed with all my visits (I visit weekly). I have always found the staff friendly, attentive, caring and professional. There are varied activities made available. Residents are not just put in front of the TV. The manager
exudes a professional energy. this is a very well-run home. Well done!

The home is always kept very clean with a wide range of food to choose from. The staff do not just do their job, they take time to make sure residents are happy and all their needs are catered for. Hopefully, this service will continue to the some standard as in about fifteen years I might need it.

We have had a challenge with my mother-in-law and York House has been wonderful. My mother-in-law went to another home and she did not take to it so York House kindly allowed her to return. The staff went above and beyond to welcome her back. Mother-in-law settled quickly thanks to their kind support.

We are so pleased that Mother is being cared for at York House. The staff are unfailingly kind, considerate and attentive while giving the residents their maximum agency to make their own decisions. The environment is warm, welcoming and homely. There is a wonderful variety of activities and entertainment

First visit to an old client today. Security was good and prompt answer to the doorbell. Friendly staff explained the signing-in and out system and showed me to my client, even brought a chair. She looked well and happy, some visitors already there were all offered refreshments with a smile. A singer
was there today in the living room, was nice to see that. My friend had had her hair done (and wickers) so was really happy. Bless her, she settled in slowly she said but it's growing on her. She said the food is very good. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

My mum spent the last six weeks of her life under the tender care of the team a York House. I have no hesitation in recommending it as somewhere that provides individualised, kind care and a homely atmosphere. I was very well looked after following a cancer operation. I needed to spend a short period of recuperation prior to returning home. York House was able to fulfil this role admirably, and in many ways, exceeded my expectations. The staff were attentive, friendly, and in a number of instances, extremely
helpful, particularly in relation to the stoma I had acquired as part of the cancer treatment.
Prices were well in line with what I had expected, and the facilities more than adequate. Overall my impressions were of a well-run home with an excellent team of carers ready to assist.

Dad has been to respite care at York House twice now. All staff are very friendly and helpful and extremely caring to Dad; he has enjoyed the activities and the meals. York House is very clean, and he has a lovely room. Certainly no complaints with the level of service provided by all staff at York
House. Thank you for all your kindness and care in looking after Dad. I am sure he will be back again soon.

Finding the right place to care for your loved one is a big decision. I felt comfortable as soon as I visited York House and met the people there. The staff are all friendly and great at their jobs; they make an effort to know the residents, as well as meeting their care needs. No doubt the pandemic
has provided lots of challenges, but I have always found York House well-staffed and my dad well cared for. Thank you!

York House is wonderful; they looked after my mum with dignity and respect. On the day my mum passed away, we were with her, and all the staff on duty that day made sure we were ok as well, bringing us ice cream, coffee and biscuits etc; they are all simply the best.

I have not seen my mother for some time, due to COVID restrictions, but in the last month, I have been able to see her three times. I have noticed she has deteriorated quite a bit. The last time I saw her was on Tuesday 6th April, when I found her incoherent which was quite upsetting. I only went in
as far as the designated room but all the checks were done very satisfactorily. I’ve always found the staff very happy and helpful.
