Bethany Christian Home is set in a charming Victorian building close to Plymouth city centre, with good transport links. All rooms have en-suite facilities, some with beautiful sea views over Plymouth Sound; (assisted bathrooms and shower rooms also available). There are 2 lounges, 2 dining rooms and a conservatory overlooking a landscaped garden, as well as an attractive indoor garden.
The Home is supported by a "Friends Group" who volunteer their time helping with links to the local community, activities for residents (including entertainment where residents’ relatives/friends are welcome) and fundraising for the Home. Ministers and volunteers from local churches visit daily to lead devotions for those residents wishing to attend.
The Home prides itself in having staff that are kindly and dedicated in their approach to their work.
Informal visits are welcome by appointment, and the Home is happy to accommodate day visits and trial stays for potential residents.
