The staff are always friendly and helpful and always treat her with compassion, dignity and respect. Knowing mum as I do, this cannot be easy at times and she can sometines be a bit difficult.
I am always consulted and kept up to date with any changes in medication, and any changes in the condition of her health.
I would like to thank you all for the care you have given to mum and all the other residents.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. It means a great deal to us to hear that your mum has been so well cared for during her time at Willowcroft. We are delighted that you are happy with the standard of care and support she receives, and your recognition of our team's compassion,...
My mum always maintained that she would never go into a care home, but as her health deteriorated, she became extremely frail and vulnerable. After a long hospital stay, she moved into Willowcroft, and despite my anxiety about how she would settle in and mum's initial reluctance, she's adapted really well. In my view, the staff were key. They are so warm, welcoming and kind. They always greet you with a smile, and nothing is too much trouble. They take great care to support mum in just the right way to meet her specific needs. I'm very happy mum is receiving such excellent care.
Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt review. We understand how difficult and emotional it can be when a loved one transitions into care, especially when it's something they were initially reluctant about. We're so pleased to hear that your mum has settled well at Willowcroft and is feeling...
My husband has been in Willowcroft for 4 years he has been very well cared for in that time. The staff are friendly and caring treating people with kindness and dignity when they themselves have outbursts to content with from patients. I am always kept informed of any problems arising with my husband. I have always found the home to be clean and welcoming.
We are very pleased to hear that your husband has been so well cared for over the past four years, and that you feel our team provides support with kindness, dignity, and understanding. We recognise that caring for individuals who may experience moments of distress can be challenging, and we truly...
My mother, a resident of Willowcroft, has vascular dementia, and I must say, the care she receives from the staff is above and beyond what her family could give her. It is sad to see one's mother with vascular dementia, and all the issues that encompasses, but to know she is in the best place to suit her complicated needs, is safe, fed well, clean, and as healthy and happy as can be expected, is a godsend to her family. The staff do an excellent job, and cannot be praised enough. All the staff I have had dealings with at Willowcroft have been first class. Their work and dedication is very much appreciated by me and the rest of my family. Thank you, Willowcroft, for everything you do.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review. We truly appreciate your kind words and are grateful for the trust you and your family have placed in us. We understand how difficult it can be to see a loved one living with vascular dementia, and it means a great deal to know...
Both my parents were in Willowcroft until the end of January, when my mother sadly passed away, the care shown by all the staff members was above and beyond their job description. The care shown to both my parents in the fortnight running up to mum passing was unbelivable, and also to myself and my two brothers
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. We're truly grateful for your kind words about the care your parents received at Willowcroft. Supporting both residents and their families during such a difficult time is...
Every time I visit, either with or without my husband, we are always greeted with a warm smile. We cannot thank the staff enough for what they do 24/7.
I would highly recommend Willowcroft and am so thankful that mum is being looked after there.

Every time I've been to see my dad I've had nothing but friendly and professional interaction with the staff, who show consideration and professionalism when they are dealing with what is sometimes very frustrating and difficult situations and am very happy with what is being provided for for my dad. When I've contacted the management team I've had nothing but professional kindness and compassion with any inquiries I've had to make and once again could not be happier.
Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. We're so pleased to hear that every visit to see your dad has been met with friendly and professional support from our team. Your recognition of the care, patience, and professionalism shown by staff, especially in more challenging...

My only slight disappointment was visiting the following week I noticed that all birthday cards and best wishes had been tidied away in a box ( no problem with that) with the exception of her birthday card from King Charles. Nobody seemed to know what had happened to it after it had been displayed on her window sill. Fortunately we have some photos of the card but there has been no signs of the actual card to date although the staff were asked to keep an eye out for it!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that your mother's 100th birthday celebration was such a special and successful occasion. It was a real pleasure for our team to be part of such a wonderful milestone, and we're so glad the...
The staff are a credit to the management. I always recommend this place as one of the best care homes in the area.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt and deeply moving review. We are truly sorry for the loss of your mother, and we feel honoured to have been able to care for her during her final days. Your kind words about the compassion, dignity, and support shown to her and to your father mean more than we...
A Care Home that really does CARE. They really look after my mum. It's clean, welcoming and I feels like a home. I really cannot fault the care and support the team give at Willowcroft and wish another relative of mine at another care home had the care mum has and to such a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate on recommending them to other people.
Thank you so much for your kind and heartfelt review. It truly means a great deal to us to hear that your mum feels well cared for and at home at Willowcroft. We are especially pleased that you find the environment clean, welcoming, and homely, this is exactly what we strive to create for all our...
Willowcroft is an excellent care home and my mum seems very happy there. The staff are caring and must have the patience of a saint. My only gripe is my mum is on the first floor, but unfortunately two of her best friends are now down on the ground floor, and one she went to school with; occasionally mum would ask for them and thinks are are dead. I am not sure why they were taken down but personally I think it was a bit cruel for mum and her friends.
Thank you very much for your kind words about Willowcroft. We're so pleased to hear that your mum is happy with us and that you've found our team to be caring and supportive-it truly means a lot. We're also really sorry to hear about your concerns regarding your mum's friends moving to the ground...
Every time I visit my aunt the staff are always extremely helpful , from admission into the home where security is a priority, until when I leave and they always let me out with a friendly smile . They are always attentive and friendly. My Aunt feels safe and well cared for in the home and it is nice she can have a laugh with the staff . This gives me peace of mind knowing she is safe and happy . Couldn't wish for a better home or more helpful staff . Thank you for all they do .
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. It truly means a great deal to us that you've taken the time to share your experience. We're delighted to hear that you feel welcomed and supported every time you visit, and that our team's friendliness, attentiveness, and focus on security...

My mother in law has been resident at Willowcroft since July 2025. The staff have been very caring and helped her settle into the new routine, she has been treated with kindness and compassion. She has a.lovely room which looks out over the garden. It's a relief to know that she is in a safe environment.

All the staff are friendly, kind, and professional. Always ready to help and care. The home is always clean and tidy. Each room is comfortable and homely. Always kept informed of mum's health and incidents. Can't recommend this care home enough.

However, 5 months later, Mum has settled very well, and is comfortable, warm, fed, & watered very satisfactorily. I personally feel she is actually better off in the home as it takes all the pressures away of living on her own at a very old age. The staff, without exception, are always very willing to help with whatever is necessary in making the residents feel at home.
Thank you to all the carers & management at Willowcroft for your efforts to ensure Mum's happiness & acceptance of the situation. All of the family are at ease now as we know the care for our dear old Mum is exemplary.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this heartfelt review. We understand how difficult and emotional the transition can be when a loved one leaves their home after so many years, and we're truly grateful for the trust you and your family placed in Willowcroft during such a challenging...
As a family we wanted to let you know what an excellent experience our mum and we had during the two and half years she was resident in Willow Croft care home before passing in February.
We can't fault the care and support our mum received from the team at Willow Croft.
Having not had experience of carehomes, we weren't sure what to expect, however we quickly realised mum was in the right place and was getting the professional, friendly and loving support that she needed.
All the staff that we met were always caring and understanding even when mum could be a little difficult, and there were particular members of the team who went the extra mile and we felt mum had a special place in their hearts. They made her stay there more engaging and comfortable than we had expected.
We wanted to let you know how amazing they were, which not only made mums last few years and days as good as they could have been, but also supported us as a family throughout, making it easier to deal with.
Thank you so much for sharing this review - your kind words mean a lot to the whole team. It was a privilege to care for your mum, and we're so pleased that she was comfortable and happy at Willowcroft. We're so sorry for your loss, and if there's ever anything more we can do for you or your family, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
In short, Willowcroft is a very good care home, they look after the needs of my mum & dad. They know the way they both tick. All in all I'm very happy that my parents are in Willowcroft.
Thanks for taking the time to write this review, which we really appreciate. We're so glad your parents are both settled at Willowcroft and that you're happy with the care they're receiving. If there's ever anything more we can do for you or them, please just let us know.
Keep the good work up all at Willowcroft.
Thank you so much for this lovely review - your kind words mean so much to the whole team! We're delighted your dad has settled in so well and it's a privilege to have him at Willowcroft.
