My sister and myself are mainly happy with our mother's care. Staff are very approachable, so we can always discuss any problems.
A warm and friendly home with an emphasis on making residents feel at home. Staff are friendly and eager to help though occasionally a little lapse in attention to detail of care. A beautiful house in charming surroundings makes for an overall very satisfactory experience.
Excellent home, it has given my Dad his life back. A beautiful environment, lovely staff, good links to local GP practice. Truly outstanding.
The care given to my mother over the last seven years has been consistently of the very highest standard. The staff are exceptionally kind and respectful towards her. They are cheerful and work so hard to make every resident feel cherished. Over this long period, my mother has needed both physical care and help through times when her mood has been very low and she has been anxious. The staff have handled all these demanding challenges with professionalism and a most caring attitude. The staff all show affection and warmth towards my mother and I truly believe that they give the residents the best care possible.
Well looked after
Well attended by staff
With good opportunities for conversation
Good activities during each week
Sadly my mum died 8 days after her arrival.
The staff had already made relationships with her in that short time and had spent time getting to know her.
I would say that her dying there was the next best place to dying at home. Wonderful.
Dulas Court is efficient, friendly and most of all kind. My step mother recently broke her hip and Dulas Court managed the situation and post operation care superbly. I could not have wished for more. I am very grateful she is looked after in such a clean, beautiful and kind environment.
My wife and I visit a dear friend at this most fabulous care home. It really is grand, not just visually but grand in the way we are treated as guests. The staff are always polite and helpful. We have also had the pleasure of visiting when they are holding activities (morning and afternoon). They are very well organised. We have enjoyed music entertainment and art classes to name a couple and always encouraged to take part.
The home is always clean and tidy and inviting. I would have no problem in recommending Dulas and if the time comes where I need to look for a care home, this will be my first choice.
Warm, friendly and very welcoming. Staff are helpful and caring. Would recommend to anyone looking for a home. My friend takes part in lots of activities and is able to maintain their hobbies and interests.
Very friendly Care Home who put their residents first! A lovely atmosphere with a family feel, staff are welcoming and friendly and can't do enough for you. We attended a summer fete put on for the residents, relatives and friends last year - what a fabulous day. I love that there are so many activities for the residents to take part in or if they just want to relax and take in the stunning gardens, they also accomdate the residents with their own hobbies wherever possible. Keep up the good work Dulas and thank you for looking after our friend so well!
I have become a friend to everyone in the home after my own wife was a resident here, sadly she has now passed away but I have become a regular visitor, visiting all the residents and I always get welcomed warmly by everyone.
I have been visiting a dear friend of mine here at Dulas Court for quite some time now. Whenever I visit, I always get 1st class treatment. I am always offered refreshments when I arrive. The staff are always busy helping with all the residents needs and nothing is too much trouble. There are activities morning and afternoon, these range from music, arts and crafts, gentle exercise classes and even having a local farmer bringing in Lambs and a piglet! All residents are encouraged to take part. The meals always look fabulous and plenty of variety. There is certainly a family feel to Dulas Court. I would highly recommend this home from home.
Have been delighted with care and attention shown to my mother. She has just returned after breaking her hip and having a hip replacement. When it was absolutely imperative to maintain hydration, the staff took as much time as necessary. Even before this setback, the care has been exemplary.
The grounds are a source of pleasure to residents and visitors.
Staff have been helpful and understanding.
She has been in the home for 12 months. She appears to be treated with dignity as she is quite difficult.
The only criticism is the size of her room, which is quite small.
There are many activities available but even after encouragement my mother does not want to participate.
