On my visit, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The residents were either sitting quietly or interacting with their visitors. The staff were caring and considerate making sure we had enough refreshments. Staff took the time to converse with residents and involve them in the activities of the afternoon. Everywhere felt relaxed and comfortable and we could stay as long as we needed.

Your first impression is that The Avenue is a 'home from home' - and it certainly is. I am most impressed with the level of care, and especially the staff who I have found to be open and have a genuine desire to look after and support the residents in their care. My family and I are very happy that my wife is happy and content in such a positive environment.

I first submitted a review of The Avenue in July 2019 and at the time was delighted with the level of care and attention to detail from all the staff. Four years have past and I am very pleased to say that nothing has changed. My sister continues to be very happy here and I can relax safe in the knowledge that she could not be in better hands. Communication from the staff remains excellent and I can rely on the team at The Avenue to always act in my sisters best interests.

The care staff are very helpful and extremely caring. We have our own rooms and can decorate as we wish.
We can, or if you won't want to, participate in activities or do whatever you want! The meals are excellent, and everyone has a good sense of humour, and we help each other.

There is a smoking shelter for those of us who smoke, and I think it is one of the best places I have stayed in.

My mum is very happy here. She is always monitored and always tells us things she has done. She has bipolar and her needs are met constantly. She likes to communicate and staff are always there for conversations. Mum has a lovely room, a caring group of staff that look after her.

I've lived at The Avenue happily for about 12 years and find it a real blessing indeed! All the staff have taken amazing care of me and treated me with a great sense of dignity. The management and owners also got a 10-star rating. I'm very grateful indeed.

Now retired it gives me great peace of mind that my brother is so well cared for by staff at the Avenue. Due to illness this year I was unable to visit as often, it was so comforting to know all was well with regular updates from the Avenue office and any queries I had answered immediately. So pleased I found the Avenue Care Home in its beautiful peaceful surroundings of the Malvern Hills.
