I cannot praise the care given to my father highly enough. He was very reluctant to move into a care home to start with, but he settled in quickly, and he was very happy and always smiling. The staff are absolutely amazing and are there for all your needs, both resident and family.
Thank you for your wonderful review! It's wonderful to hear how your father settled in quickly and was very happy at Asra House. Our team will really appreciate your kind words. Best wishes.
The staff are very caring and look after me very well. I am very happy with the service. The food is delicious. Homely environment. The home is very clean and tidy. My room is very organised and cleaned by staff on a regular basis.
My mother has been at Asra House for 2 years now. She has vascular dementia, so she has some good days and some bad days but she is a strong-minded individual and generally very considerate with the staff. I am impressed with the Management team of the Home generally and the way the Home is run. As all of the Residents are Gujarati/Panjabi it is a credit to the staff that almost all of them speak Gujarati/Hindi/Panjabi and English, thus the Residents feel more secure and safe. The activities the Home provides are both religious/social based and are excellent coupled with the monthly Newsletter that is issued to the Residents' relatives. Any health issue encountered with the Residents, the relatives are notified at once and help is given to the relatives in dealing with the matter at hand. I regularly visit my mother and talk to my mother over the phone and have no problems with booking a room visit. The Residents are treated with dignity and respect. Generally, the Home is in a good clean state.
I'm so happy that my brother is getting good care. Especially the homely atmosphere. He is enjoying his life as if he is in his own home. The staff are so good and helpful. Always they are helpful and kind. They are keeping care on their hearts.
Thank you so much for your kind words for our home and team at Asra House Residential Care Home - it is so appreciated. Best wishes, Fae.
Excellent home for my father. The staff are caring, courteous and cannot do enough. A very friendly place.
Thank you so much for your review and kind words for our home and team, it is so appreciated! Best wishes, Fae.
An excellent, outstanding home, they take care of Mum very well. She is very happy indeed. The staff are very professional and sympathetic to Mum. My mum is thriving at this home and the food is lovely and the home is so clean.
I have found Asra House to be a very friendly care home to residents and visitors. Their principles and values are in tune with my expectations of how and what a care home should be. The food is of very good quality which I know my mother enjoys. Asra House activities are nothing short of amazing which keeps the residents entertained throughout the week.
Thank you so much for your kind words about our home and team, it is so appreciated! Best wishes, Fae.
My mum has been at Asra for just over one year. So far, the family have only positive things to say. Asra care home is the best care home, in our opinion. Staff are just excellent in all aspects. Facilities are great. Food is like home cooked and very good.
My father was at this care home from 23/03/2020 to 20/04/2020. He was happy in the care home with their services and care that was provided to him. Unfortunately, he passed away on 20/04/2020. He was very unhappy at another care home and was treated badly there by the staff. As a result, he decided to move to Asra House Residential Care Home. My father and the staff at Asra House Residential Care Home communicated with one another very effectively. They also had banter with one another. As I mentioned earlier, my father passed away in the Care Home on 20/04/2020, but I spoke to my father and one member of staff in particular, the day before he passed away. My father's final words on the phone on 19/04/2020 were, "Don't worry about me, they are all looking after me here".
Both of my parents were resident at this home where they had spent the last few years of their life before departing us. They had a wonderful time and experience and were looked after by staff and management second to none. We would cherish all the memories while visiting parents regularly and very much appreciate how much effort the staff had put in to ensure their daily needs were met.
I cannot comment on cleanliness and rooms as I have not had an opportunity to review these. Asra House facilities provide safe accommodation and friendly service from the support staff. It seriously lacks services on maintaining the mental and physical well-being of the clients, a point which I have already mentioned. This, in my opinion, is an important requirement for the residents. There have been some improvements but patchy.
My mother has been here for one year. She has been cared for really well. She has improved a lot since she came here. She has made a few friends. She likes her food. The staff is very friendly and always welcoming with a smile.
Thank you for such a wonderful review - we really appreciate it and it's lovely to hear your mother is doing much better at Asra House. Best wishes, Fae
To the Management and the amazing staff at Asra House. I want to express sincere gratitude for the care and support looking after my mother-in-law, especially during these very difficult, challenging and uncertain times. A tonne of thanks to the manager for being there, always mindful and helpful with a super huge smile. I appreciate your genuineness for care and kindness. The family thank each and everyone for all the love and care you show to the residents.
Thank you for such a lovely review of our home, team and management - it is so appreciated! Best wishes, Fae
the last five days of my stay here at Asra House has been a pleasant one. To highlight a few things, food:- very good, just like home-cooked (made) good for people who are convalescing. The very good management team who take special care of your wellbeing. Other teams who take and make a special effort are attending care staff, medical team dispensing medicine from time to time, cleaners etc. God bless all at Asra House.
Thank you for such kind words about our home, team and food! We are very proud of the fantastic meals at Asra House - it is lovely to hear you enjoyed your stay. Best wishes, Fae
Very pleased with the quality of care. The staff are all enthusiastic and go out of their way to accommodate requests. My mum is happy here and well looked after.

Thank you for your lovely review - it is much appreciated by our team. Best wishes, Fae
Very accomodating, helpful and understanding of both the needs of the resident and the family.
In Asra, we found an extended family and wanted exactly what we wanted for our mum. In Asra, we found people that cared!
Thank you for everything!
The staff are all positive and know all residents and their close relatives by name. It is evident that the manager is actively and pro-actively ensuring staff are trained. She is on top of all areas of service in the home. There is always a good record of care for my mother and so I know that she is being looked after well.
Dear Ranna, thank you so much for taking the time to review Asra. Your feedback is invaluable to us and it is great to hear that you have peace of mind knowing that your mother is well cared for at Asra House. Best wishes, Fae
Despite their very busy jobs they all seem to take the time to get to know residents personally and respond to their individual care needs. There is a strong relationship with families and staff have invited us on numerous occasions to eat at the home which is lovely. The food is of a very high standard. The environment always appears clean and tidy. Staff do their best to make residents feel at home as much as possible, which for me, is most important to our family.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Your feedback is truly invaluable to our team to ensure that the care provided at Asra House is the very best it can be. I will be sure to pass it onto the team. Best wishes, Fae.
