My Mother has lived here for 2 years and 2 months. My Mum is always happy, looks well cared for. Her room is of a very good standard with her own en-suite. All the carers are very good with Mum and have always found her dignity to be well preserved.

I'm Kat. I have been a Receptionist at Bramwell for the past 6 months, and I truly enjoy being part of this close-knit and supportive team. I feel incredibly productive and appreciated in my role, and I’ve quickly become familiar with the home’s daily operations. What I love most about working at Bramwell is the sense of family—getting to know both the residents and their families has been a rewarding experience. I'm proud to be part of such a successful and well-managed home, where we all work together to provide the best care.


I also have a background in archery, where I used to compete. My passion for history is reflected in my studies of medieval and Russian history, and when I’m unwinding, you’ll often find me playing the guitar or diving into a game of Skyrim.

In my role, I assist with the day-to-day running of the home, and I thrive on the challenge and responsibility that come with it. I enjoy pushing myself to grow and learn more, and the strong teamwork around me helps me achieve my goals.


I like to keep the atmosphere light-hearted, often joking with the team—though sometimes I end up in a little bit of trouble for it! Outside of work, I enjoy reading books, exploring new experiences, and spending quality time playing with my son.

As a Dementia Champion, I have been able to lead initiatives that focus on improving care and supporting residents. However, I do feel disappointed at times when I fail to execute as well as I’d like, but I use it as motivation to improve.

Building relationships with the residents and their families is something I truly value, and I’m committed to keeping the home safe, clean, and well-maintained.


Outside of work, I’m an enthusiast of bike rides, motorbikes, and fancy cars—always enjoying the thrill and freedom they bring.
