Carers look to maintain a good social atmosphere while encouraging residents in the pursuit of an active and fulfilling lifestyle, with all dietary needs met and evening events that relatives and loved ones can join in with. The activities coordinator offers a wide programme ranging from gardening either outdoors or in the greenhouse, knitting, sewing, craft, games and movement to music. Should residents require a little pampering, there is a hairdressers and chiropodist.
Pets are welcome in the home. Current pets include Snowy & Lilly the rabbits.
Shorter respite care requirements are also handled by skilled carers, while Sutton Manor is an excellent environment in which to feel at home throughout a retirement.

As a family who live miles away in Wiltshire, we are happy that mum is safe and cared for. Thank you. Can I add it is great to see mum doing her activities via social media. Thanks to the whole team.

We were all blown away with the care, consideration and compassion that was shown to my mum. She had a great time, and loved her time there. The food was great, and as my mum is a fussy eater, she asked them to cook different meals for her. This was done without hesitation. All the staff went the extra mile daily, nothing was too much trouble, they work so hard. One particular staff member encouraged mum to join in the activities, she loved it, and her confidence grew to the point she has come home a different person.
I can highly recommend Sutton Manor to anyone, whether it's for long term or short term stays. It's a happy Care Home, where staff clearly adore the residents and want the best for them. I hope my Mum will be able to go back to stay for respite in the near future.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of Sutton Manor and the care your Mum received. I shall ensure its shared with all the staff whom will appreciate the positive feedback. We are so pleased that we have left your family with a positive view of care homes and look forward to welcoming your Mum back whenever she needs our services again. Kind Regards

We've seen such a positive change to dad's demeanour since he moved into Sutton manor. Despite not being able to see & being hard of hearing he has quickly fitted in to the social life of the home. He joins in & enjoys most of the activities arranged with a bit of help & loves a good sing song....
There are a couple of things would make life even better for dad; firstly, if more carers could learn how to attach his prosthetic leg effectively (it is difficult), this would give him more confidence & secondly ensuring that dads skin is thoroughly creamed every day to combat his dry skin.
Notwithstanding these comments, we are happy & more importantly dad is happy in the home.
Firstly may I thank you for such a positive review. We are going to look into a training course on prosthetics to be able to improve our care. Thank you for your suggestion.

Mum was transferred to Sutton Manor straight from hospital for rehabilitation after having a hip replacement operation. From the moment that Mum arrived, she was welcomed really warmly into the Sutton Manor family and so was I and my brothers. We were always greeted by name, which was much...
I would certainly recommend Sutton Manor and applaud the leadership team for creating such a caring and stimulating place for their residents. We are very grateful to everyone who works there.
The management and staff always took time to talk to her and visitors.
