Sutton Manor Residential Home is a lovely welcoming home well suited to the needs of forty-five residents, with some dual occupancy rooms also available.

Carers look to maintain a good social atmosphere while encouraging residents in the pursuit of an active and fulfilling lifestyle, with all dietary needs met and evening events that relatives and loved ones can join in with. The activities coordinator offers a wide programme ranging from gardening either outdoors or in the greenhouse, knitting, sewing, craft, games and movement to music. Should residents require a little pampering, there is a hairdressers and chiropodist.

Pets are welcome in the home. Current pets include Snowy & Lilly the rabbits.

Shorter respite care requirements are also handled by skilled carers, while Sutton Manor is an excellent environment in which to feel at home throughout a retirement.

I cannot express how much I appreciate the highest standard of professionalism of all the members of staff I have encountered here during my short stay. I was made most welcome and made comfortable, the staff encounter daily adversity and complex needs of the residents and display cheerfulness, affection
to all and each other. I was very impressed with the overall cleanliness and facilities, in fact, I thought I had come to a five-star establishment. The staff work hard to achieve this and cannot sing their praises enough, I would recommend this facility to anyone who has worries about moving into long or short term care here, very, very well done!

During my stay, I have been looked after and the carers have treated me with the utmost respect and I have enjoyed my stay here. The activities, such as bingo, quizzes and singers etc... Have been a lot of fun and really enjoyable.

It is very pleasant and cheerful and helpful. My room is very good. You get your hair dressed, feet done by a chiropodist, finger nails done and enjoy playing and joining in group quizzes etc.

This is my second time at Sutton Manor in the last year. As before, the staff are very kind, caring and considerate. The food is tasty, plentiful and the menu is varied. Activities are varied. I particularly like having my hair and nails done as I have these done when at home. I feel comfortable here
as I am treated with dignity and respect.

Having only stayed in the home for a few days I can only say I would highly recommend the home to any of my family or friends.
I cannot fault the care and compassion of all the staff in all matters, no matter what time of day or night.
The care has been of the highest quality and if in the future
I have to spend time in a home I only hope I could come back to this one.

It was a huge decision for mum to go into Sutton Manor, but her misgivings were unfounded. The staff were very pleasant and she enjoyed the company of the other residents. The food was plentiful and good quality her room is clean and well kept.

The treatment that was given to my father was caring, generous, professional and very helpful to dad and me as a family when the end was near. The staff had got to know dad and had a rapport with him. He liked all the staff and had a laugh at times with members of the team. He was sometimes a stubborn
old goat but they knew how to get the best out of him. I want so say that the manager was more than just a manager but a very caring member of this home.
I thank them for the care they gave to dad at the time he was here.

Mum was placed in the care home in June 2016 after a very nasty fall at her home. She spent about 10 days in hospital, then she was placed in the care home. After 3 weeks in there, she came back home for a visit and to see how she would cope at home. She made it clear she wanted to stay in the care
home because she felt safe there and they were looking after her. She fell in the care home and broke her hip and the staff got her to hospital straight away. They looked after her till she passed away in January. She always said she was looked after and she was happy there and so were we.

Staff are fantastic, residents are easy to get along with, food is brilliant, the home is fantastically clean. I would recommend to anyone as I found being here very pleasant, if I need a care home to stay, I would come back here but gladly pay.

My father recently stayed at Sutton Manor for rehabilitation after major surgery. The care and consideration that he was given by all the staff was truly wonderful. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay there, he especially enjoyed the activities. My father, brothers, sister and I, can not recommend this wonderful

Having spent 5 weeks at Sutton Manor Residential Home I feel qualified to express my conclusions sound in the knowledge that I am unlikely to have missed anything that could be regarded as untoward. If the time comes to consider permanent residence I will not hesitate to choose Sutton Manor, I have
been treated exceptionally well and made to feel totally at home. Food is extremely good and varied and beautifully served. I find the staff and management extremely accommodating and thoughtful with the medical cover being beyond reproach. I am totally satisfied with every aspect of my stay.
