Sutton Manor Residential Home is a lovely welcoming home well suited to the needs of forty-five residents, with some dual occupancy rooms also available.

Carers look to maintain a good social atmosphere while encouraging residents in the pursuit of an active and fulfilling lifestyle, with all dietary needs met and evening events that relatives and loved ones can join in with. The activities coordinator offers a wide programme ranging from gardening either outdoors or in the greenhouse, knitting, sewing, craft, games and movement to music. Should residents require a little pampering, there is a hairdressers and chiropodist.

Pets are welcome in the home. Current pets include Snowy & Lilly the rabbits.

Shorter respite care requirements are also handled by skilled carers, while Sutton Manor is an excellent environment in which to feel at home throughout a retirement.

I have enjoyed my stay in care here. I have been cared for by a team of very good girls, nothing is too much trouble.
The food was excellent and the home was very clean.

Staff are fantastic, residents are easy to get along with, food is brilliant, the home is fantastically clean. I would recommend to anyone as I found being here very pleasant, if I need a care home to stay, I would come back here but gladly pay.

I recently spent approximately 2 weeks at Sutton Manor following a major operation at the hospital and cannot fault the care I was given by each individual member of staff.
I am now recuperating at home but will remember with affection the excellent care I received.
I owe my recovery in no small part
to my treatment at Sutton Manor.

My father recently stayed at Sutton Manor for rehabilitation after major surgery. The care and consideration that he was given by all the staff was truly wonderful. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay there, he especially enjoyed the activities. My father, brothers, sister and I, can not recommend this wonderful
home enough.

Having spent 5 weeks at Sutton Manor Residential Home I feel qualified to express my conclusions sound in the knowledge that I am unlikely to have missed anything that could be regarded as untoward. If the time comes to consider permanent residence I will not hesitate to choose Sutton Manor, I have
been treated exceptionally well and made to feel totally at home. Food is extremely good and varied and beautifully served. I find the staff and management extremely accommodating and thoughtful with the medical cover being beyond reproach. I am totally satisfied with every aspect of my stay.

The care I received at Sutton Manor has been superb. The staff have given me a safe and secure environment in which to recover from my operation. Their care has been calm and professional, with a great sprinkling of cheerfulness and humour.

I am A working single mum and the only child of a disabled father. He has a carer morning and night and I cook, clean, wash, shop etc for him 7 days a week. I am struggling with my own health issues. This last bout of illness my dad was hospitalised and honestly pushed me to breaking point. I was told
that as part of his rehabilitation he would go to Sutton Manor. We were both so frightened having heard such awful stories. However I walked into a "home" not a place for old people. Wonderful, caring staff, great bedrooms, facilities and food. To hear my dad say "I couldn't be in a better place", said it all. Thank you from the bottom of our heart- fantastic!

I came here as couldn't manage at home and the care and help I receive here at Sutton Manor is excellent. My room is great, is personalised with my own things and family photo's, the food is good, different choices. Activities are good, I enjoy a good game of Dominoes and Cards. Manager is lovely and
is very helpful and there if needed.

I like being here as I am well looked after and the carers are good, my room is decorated to how I like, I am a diabetic and the meals are suitable for my diet. I enjoyed razzle dazzle entertainers. I enjoyed playing dominoes and having a drink of beer with others this was a good social time.

During my stay at Sutton Manor I found the staff to be very welcoming, caring and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble and I am always treated with dignity. I like the fact that I can arrange to have my hair done once a week and can choose to take part in activities if I wish. There is always someone
there if I need a shower and the O.T's are helping me to maintain and improve my mobility.

Sutton Manor is very friendly, welcoming and always a lively atmosphere, food is very good staff have helped by putting my meals on a small plate and this has made me want to eat more. My mother is given excellent care and attention at all times. The home is spotlessly clean and so is she. I can't ask for anything that would be any better. I am totally satisfied with her care and would recommend this home to anyone.

When you enter Sutton Manor it is very clean and smells lovely and fresh. Staff are very good, caring and friendly, food is good and we have a good choice. Very friendly atmosphere. As a 78 year old pensioner with a view of not ever going into a care home, I was sent here at 9:30pm and I was not very nice to the carer who took me to my bedroom. I said I was not staying here and I would catch a bus home next day, the next morning I got a full breakfast and at the dinner table I
was face to face with someone who I have known most of my life, after a few days I came to fit in with the daily goings on here. I enjoyed the banter with the carers, as days went by my views of a care home have changed. I commend this home.

The food is very good and good selection on a daily basis. I have enjoyed meeting new people and making friends, the care is very good and the night carers are very good, they come straight away nothing is too much trouble and all the staff have put me at ease as was worried about coming into a care

She has worked for Ashmere for well over a decade but has previously worked a multitude of care roles before her arrival with us.
