I would definitely recommend this home as the staff provide a stimulating, dignified and lovely home atmosphere. They could not have provided more during Mum's last few days and as a family we have no problems in recommending Birkenhead Court to anyone looking for a place to have for their loved ones.

As the husband of a resident, 3 years 7 months, I have found Birkenhead Court to be perfect for my wife. My only observation is the laundry service which I feel could be improved.

On behalf of all members of my family, I would like to thank every single person who works at Birkenhead Court for all there kindness shown to our mother who resided here for a short time until her end of life. As a family, we can highly recommend anyone to use this home for their loved ones who need the best of care. You only have to read the report which gives an outstanding review which can be quite rare to achieve. All of the management and carers cannot do enough for you, nothing is to much trouble at any time of the day/night. The extensive food menu is freshly cooked and delicious and wholesome, plenty of activities always something happening. The resident's rooms are beautiful. Above all, every resident you ask will tell you they love being there. That is testament itself. This lovely care home really does have staff that really do care and go the extra mile to please. Thanks again for a very caring care home.

I could not rate the care at Birkenhead Court more highly. Exceptional staff at all levels from management to housekeeping. They genuinely care about the people they look after. The carers took the time to read about my husband's life about which I had been asked to write so that they could interact with him more meaningfully. They welcomed me by name and knew who I had come to visit. My husband was fortunate enough to be able to stay there until the end of his life. The care continued to be exceptional and his family too were also looked after at this difficult time when they came to sit with him.

The staff in the care home are amazing. I could not have made a better choice for my wife from the minute you walk through the door of the home you are made so welcome. The staff seem to be one happy family.

I love coming to Birkenhead Court. It is a happy care home. The staff are all so nice.

Fantastic care, the staff are so welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this home to anyone who needs their parents or family members looking after. My mother loves it here and I love the way she is looked after as if she is part of a big family there. Everybody working is so understanding of both my mothers needs and of the family's needs, wonderful place I would give it 10/10.

Excellent staff, they treat Mum like a family member. The residents are given a voice to decide what to do by way of a resident/relatives meeting. When I leave her after a visit, I know she is safe and being well looked after.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, Mum associates the staff and other residents as a part of her own family.

Overall the standard is very high, my brother is being very well looked after. Facilities are above normal standards to other locations I have visited.

I was very apprehensive about putting my father into care but was put at ease with the help of the manager and staff. Nothing has been too much trouble and he is settling in nicely. Staff are very friendly and treat everyone with friendliness and patience.

Found all of the staff to be very helpful, security is very good and meals are excellent.

My husband has had 2 x2 weeks respite care at Birkenhead Court and he has been very happy and well cared for both times. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The standard of cleanliness is very good and there are plenty of activities to do if you so wish. Knowing he is happy to go back for more respite willingly shows he is happy and I shall have no hesitation in doing so for respite or long-term and have recommended it to other carers I know.

My sister and I were very happy that our mother was able to get a place at Birkenhead Court after a period in hospital. Birkenhead Court was so much nicer than other care home facilities that we looked at. A pleasant, modern, purpose-built unit with a well-kept garden, well-appointed rooms with easy access (no stairs or steps). Smart and efficient management, pleasant and caring staff. Plenty of activities and services in-house (hair care, chiropody etc) also a quiet lounge for those who did not wish to participate in group activities. We couldn't really have expected our mother to have been better cared for in the declining last three years of her life.

I am pleased with the care that my mother receives also with the activities and days out and the all-round general caring. All staff are welcoming and provide a first class service, I would indeed recommend Birkenhead Court to any prospective future customers.

I can only describe management and staff as truly dedicated.

This is a well-run care home, where all the staff care about the residents, family are welcomed at all times and actively encouraged to discuss the needs of their family member. Standard of cleanliness and food is excellent and the care mum receives gives us reassurance that she is safe and well cared for.

Despite the use of protocols and procedures, the care team responded to my Mum's and her family's needs with compassion, care, understanding and indeed love. They respected our need to spend time with our Mum at the end of her life but were always there when needed, even when we didn't realise that we needed them. They worked as a team, all of the time and got it absolutely right. In these days of litigation and complaints it was so reassuring to experience the use of sensitive common sense, they got it right for my Mum and her family. Thank you
