I viewed 3 local sites of the Anchor Groups - and this site amongst other care companies, I feel I made the perfect choice. I have died and gone to heaven.

Since mum moved into Birkenhead Court she has gained weight, so is more stable on her feet, and she is doing really well. She's happy and I know she is safe and is being well cared for. All the staff are lovely with the residents and mum always looks clean and well dressed. There is always something going on at the home be it singers or entertainers and mum has a better social life me. They go our on trips which mum enjoys. I can't speak highly enough of the care mum is receiving, from the staff at Birkenhead Court and we are so grateful.

They provided love and care to my mum and support to me. Her mental health declined rapidly once she was moved from home into care and it quickly became apparent that her needs could only be met by a more suitable environment. Her stay was therefore for 5 months. However they continued to do their very best to cope with the additional challenges and extra work this generated until the move was able to be arranged.

Since arriving at Birkenhead Court Care Home, our mum is far more relaxed and not as anxious. Staff treat her with dignity and always on hand to help with any queries family may have. She takes part in all the organised events the care home provide, which she enjoys enormously. The staff all know her and her appearance is always well presented and cared for. Management team and all staff are excellent, cannot fault them. It has been a big relief to find a care home so committed in making our mum a happy relaxed person.

Having reviewed most local care homes for my mother I can honestly day that Birkenhead Court and their great staff are head and shoulders above any competition - Birkenhead Court should be the standard to which all care homes should be measured. I cannot thank the staff enough. My mother was happy well cared for and safe. if you need a care home look no further.

Dad was only in Birkenhead Court for just over 4 weeks (respite care during a time of horrible upheaval with Mum having a broken hip and then being diagnosed with MND), but he grew to like the place and didn't really want to leave. They looked after him very well, even arranging for him to visit Mum in hospital. I have no hesitation in recommending it.
