The Manor Care Home

The staff take pride and care nothing is too much trouble call unannounced and the standard is always the same absolutely amazing, full of care and compassion I visited several before this and so amazing.

My Mum has been a resident at the manor for two years following her dementia diagnosis. The staff are all very friendly and approachable. The care staff are excellent and Mum is treated with dignity and compassion. I am reassured that Mum is happy and well cared for. I would highly recommend the manor to others.

Overall this home is very, very good indeed and I would certainly recommend to others.

Great care home, all the staff from different departments go above and beyond, nothing is ever to much. Management are really great to work with on making the right decisions and choices for a loved one.

We have sadly lost our mum and this home in our opinion contributed due to the lack are care.

I have been extremely impressed with the way that this care home is run. The dementia care offered is respectful and dignified so that residents and their families feel supported. A well chosen team of staff at all levels are compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and very approachable, offering a warmth of welcome that embraces residents and visitors alike. With a range of activities and entertainment provided to stimulate and interest residents throughout the year it is clear to see why the Manor can be relied upon to look after the needs of permanent residents and respite care guests.

My mum is in her nineties and has been there for two years, and knowing that I can rely on their health monitoring provision and management means I can trust that anything she needs will be provided, so I highly recommend the Manor, it's management, care and support staff for their superb service. I was very nervous at putting my mum in any care home as she had always been so independent, I didn't need to worry I was put at ease from the moment my mum became a resident.

The Manor Care Home have been amazing. Mum was placed there in an emergency during the pandemic and we were really worried. We shouldn't have been, the staff are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. The care home provided truly person-centred care. They pulled out all the stops for my parents' 60th anniversary and arranged a secure visiting area for my dad to visit. Overall the staff and management provide first-class care, lots of activities and they always make time to accommodate our requests. Just brilliant. I would recommend The Manor Care Home in a heartbeat. Thank you for looking after my mum with dignity and respect.

My wife stayed at The Manor. The staff treated her with great respect and were always very helpful to all of her needs. When I rang, they were all so kind and helpful. Overall mark out of ten: eleven - you are a great team. Thank you all.

My mother-in-law was admitted to The Manor as she needed discharge from hospital but couldn't safely go home. This has happened during the Coronavirus pandemic so we were not able to see the Home prior to admission or visit whilst she was there. Staff were working under very difficult conditions but were friendly, professional and caring at every contact we have had. It has been a very difficult situation but even though we could see her I have felt that she has been well cared for.

Brilliant safeguarding/security for my father. Totally supportive of my father's needs and supportive of family.

The care and attention shown to my father-in-law since he came to The Manor has been absolutely excellent. The staff have all shown total professionalism whilst at the same time kindness and compassion. No task is too much trouble and they genuinely care for the resident's welfare and wellbeing. First-rate in all areas.

The home is brilliant and I love that they have so many days where the residents have activities to stimulate their body and mind. It is excellent. Well done staff!

I have found The Manor Care Home to be clean, warm, and well maintained. They have many activities to stimulate and incentify the residents.

My father lived at The Manor for 2 years. My sister and I looked at a lot of homes before calling into The Manor. We knew as soon as we walked around that it was the right place for him. A homely, comfortable place. Set in beautiful grounds, the old house has lots of character. The staff are wonderful, they are caring and loving. They are always patient and considerate. I was able to relax when he moved in as I knew he was safe and cared for. Any issues with his health were dealt with quickly, I was kept informed of treatments. I know a lot of positive changes have been made recently. I would highly recommend them.

The large grounds create a peaceful setting and can be enjoyed in the summer by the residents. Has a good programme of activities. I feel that my mother is being well cared for and I trust the staff.

As a new resident, under a month, my mother has been treated with care and respect. Her physical needs have been met and has had many medical treatments. It would be good to have more intellectual stimulation as she is often asleep.

The deputy manager and I had an open and honest discussion and review about my mum. She had all information to hand and I am extremely pleased with all aspects of my mums care.

My dad has lived at The Manor Care Home for nearly two years now. He is happy and settled here. He has an amazing bond with the staff and the deputy manager.
