I am sorry to hear that you feel you have had a negative experience, and I want you to know that Kingsley take your concerns seriously. Your feedback helps us understand areas where we can improve, and I am committed to addressing any issues you've highlighted.
On your mum’s admission, we immediately got other agencies involved and they assessed mum as needing a higher level of care; and this meant a Nursing Placement.
I am sorry to hear this was not the care you expected however we will draw upon your points and look for ways to improve.
Naturally, this review was unexpected as the staff felt relationships were good and feedback from others have always been positive. If you would like to see us to discuss it further then please feel free to contact the home.

My career in healthcare began in 1989 at the age of 16 on a YTS scheme as well as attending college. By the age of 18, I was given an award for being the youngest manager in Cheshire travelling across the country in a peripatetic role. I have 31 years experience in different areas of care. I joined Kingsley Healthcare almost six years ago and have gained further experience and knowledge within the manager role including achieving my NVQ 4 and 5 in management. I am the manager at Park Lane in Congleton and am proud of my well-established staff team. We have just won an award on Carehome.co.uk for being in the Top 20 in the North West and 1st in the CW12 area.
I started work as a Laundry assistant at Parklane nearly 18 years ago, I have gained skills and knowledge in several different job roles in this time. Over the last 5 years I was given the opportunity to be Head of Care which is a role that works alongside the Manger helping with the day to day running of the home. I have achieved my level 4 in Management during this time which has developed my skills and knowledge to develop my staff team and direct them to provide quality care for our residents
I started work as a carer over 25 yrs ago, I have gained skills and knowledge in several homes. I joined Park Llane nearly 6 years ago and I have developed myself by obtaining my level 4 in Management and this has enabled me to pass on my knowledge to others. There was a restructure within the home and I was given the opportunity to Take on the role of a senior lead along with another colleague and this role requires us to lead and direct the staff team as well as taking on more responsibilities.
Andrew has been Head Chef at Park Lane Care Home for 4 years.
Before joining Kingsley Healthcare Andrew worked for the Ministry of Defence and catered for King Charles and Camilla when he was a civic caterer in 2010.
Andrew is passionate about providing nutritious, home made meals for the residents.
I have worked in Park Lane for 22 years, having left school at 16 years ago. I initially worked in the kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant. I later moved on to care, undertaking the necessary training to support residents with their personal care.
I have always been flexible to fit in with the needs of the home, and when a position came up in the housekeeping team over 2 years ago, I was happy to step into the role to help. As a result of my role in housekeeping, I have recently been appointed Head Housekeeper.
I love working in Park Lane; no two days are the same, and it is always wonderful to chat with residents and learn about the lives they have led.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking my children to their varied activities as well as socialising and relaxing with friends and family.
