It’s very rare I get to see my friend as I’m disabled myself, but when I visited them in Park Lane I was delighted.
From the moment I entered the home, the atmosphere was so warm and friendly, from the Manager down.
My friend looked so well and cared for and the main positive they were so happy.

What a lovely home.

Park Lane care home is a very homely and friendly place. My mother is well cared for and always treated with kindness and dignity. All the staff are approachable and will answer any question we may have.

The manager and staff are always looking to improve the care and facilities. My mum is settled and believes she is living at home which to me, speaks volumes.

My husband went into Park Lane Care Home at the beginning of March. At that time, he was disturbed and difficult to handle, owing to a mistake in his prescription. In spite of this, the staff were very caring and kind and quickly arranged for him to see a doctor and the mental health team.

The mistake was rectified and his condition improved immediately. I am very happy with the standard of care that he has been given.

My father moved into Park Lane last September. He is well cared for and well fed. The care home is always nice and warm. It is kept very clean. The staff are very helpful and are always approachable. The care my father receives is person centred, and is delivered with respect and good humour.

I would recommend Park Lane Care Home to anyone who needs a clean, safe and caring environment for a loved one.
My grandma has recently gone into care as she can't cope at home any more.
She settled in almost immediately and has made friends.
I am always hearing about how good the food is and how fun the girls are.
I feel 100% satisfied that my gran is getting the care and respect she deserves.

Thank you to all the staff!

The management team and the carers at Park Lane Residential home are doing a wonderful job looking after my friend. She has lots of problems with her dementia. She has become incontinent and aggressive but they have coped brilliantly and treated her with kindness and respect.

I can't praise them enough for the effort they are putting into her care.

Park Lane offers an excellent individual care plan tailored to meet residents' needs in a homely, secure, upbeat atmosphere. Facilities provided include weekly medical check-ups, daily activities both within the home and the outside environment. Also the food is great. Dedicated care - staff ensure the home is always spotless and residents are treated with dignity, empathy and cheerfulness and encouraged to be as independent as possible. I would highly recommend this home to anybody whose loved one is suffering from dementia.

Due to a bad experience in a previous care home, mum arrived at Park Lane Residential Home to a lovely clean room. The staff who welcomed her immediately made us all at ease. In the 12 months she has been there she is sleeping better and is more settled. All staff seem dedicated to the care of the residents and this shows. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Up to now, we are more than happy with the care given and would not hesitate to recommend Park Lane Residential Home to others.

Mum is more settled now, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The manager is lovely, she always has time to talk even though she is busy. We are always told how mum is doing. The home is very clean. The food is marvellous, like a 5-star hotel. Mum even joins in with activities, overall extremely pleased that we chose this residential home.

The manager and all the staff are very approachable, always there to listen. As my mother has dementia, she makes up a lot of stories which are untrue. The staff always reassure my mother, however, many times she says the same things. The home is very clean. The carers have lots of interesting activities for my mother to join in with. I feel really settled in my mind that we have made the correct decision ie. my mother becoming a resident here.

The welcome I received at the home was wonderful! The staff clearly love their jobs and have the residents at the heart of everything they do. The manager is extremely pro-active and attentive to everyone's needs. She is very much involved in the activity provision at the home and is keen to drive positive change forward.

It is wonderful to see such fantastic facilities and it is obvious that there is a real family and homely atmosphere throughout.

Adina DimilerJob Title:Head Housekeeper

I have worked in Park Lane for 22 years, having left school at 16 years ago. I initially worked in the kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant. I later moved on to care, undertaking the necessary training to support residents with their personal care.

I have always been flexible to fit in with the needs of the home, and when a position came up in the housekeeping team over 2 years ago, I was happy to step into the role to help. As a result of my role in housekeeping, I have recently been appointed Head Housekeeper.

I love working in Park Lane; no two days are the same, and it is always wonderful to chat with residents and learn about the lives they have led.

In my spare time, I enjoy taking my children to their varied activities as well as socialising and relaxing with friends and family.
