Mum moved into the Mews for a few months. It's a very light and airy place. Both residents and staff are wonderful. Unfortunately Mum declined rapidly and so we are having to move her to nursing care. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to the staff and residents as they had all become part of a wider family.
It's a great place as there are only 25 residents so doesn't feel over crowded.
Dave the resident entertainer (and handyman) is amazing and so easily brings a smile and gets everyone moving.
Never let anyone tell you that someone with Dementia has no personality. It's not true!!
The home has recently undergone refurbishment and its lovely.
I would like to thank from all of our family ,the outstanding care that all the staff provided over the many years to my mum. If it wasn't for the caring, respectful, kind, loving staff my mum would have passed many years ago . Unfortunately we have recently endeared the loss of our mum and the staff supported us throughout this time. Thank you for everything, you clearly are Angels to us and have enabled us to have many extra years with our mum for which we will be forever grateful xxxx
During the last few weeks, when the illness was at it's worst, the care and compassion shown to him was wonderful for which I am very grateful.
The staff are to be highly praised for the way they looked after my father for the 18 months he was a resident. We promised him that we would find somewhere that would treat him with care and respect, and I will say, that Heathside Mews helped us fulfil that promise 100%. Thank you guys for everything you did for him.
Thank you for your lovely feedback; I will pass this on to the team.
What an absolutely brilliant care home. The caring team are wonderful. They understand my mum's needs and the care and support she receives is 5-star standard. Management is fantastic - approachable, efficient and always keeps me updated and always on hand to offer support and advice. Mum's room is large, sunny and feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend The Mews.
Outstanding on all levels.
Heathside Mews has provided both myself and my mum with a great level of support and care. The rooms are large and well maintained and there are plenty of activities and things for the residents to do. The staff have been great even when Mum has experienced some issues.
I have been really pleased with the standard of care. The staff are warm and seem to genuinely care about Mum. Mum is very settled and content here. I would certainly recommend to others.
Thank you for your feedback we are so pleased to offer an environment where your mum feels settled and content.
Our father (father-in-law) has settled in very well. His care has been exceptional, including supporting him after several falls, returning home, they soon had him walking and independent again. We are kept up to date on his care and all guidelines. Staff are wonderful, warm and caring giving support to us all.
My mum has been in Heathside Mews for about 4 years, I can't say anything bad. The care my mum gets is excellent, the staff are always friendly and very patient.
Lovely care home with caring staff that go above and beyond. My mum is very well looked after here and most importantly is happy here too. Would be happy to recommend the home to others. I can't thank the staff enough for all their hard work especially through the pandemic.
Staff are always kind and cheerful. The home pays attention to keeping families in the loop concerning the health and happiness of my mum. Mum always seems to be happy and cheerful
Heathside staff are friendly and welcoming. The home is clean and bright and our mum is settling in well. She enjoys the meals and is encouraged to be involved in daily activities. We have already recommended Heathside to a friend.
