The staff at Orchard Mews are the finest care team. They give my mam the highest quality of care, patience and friendships. They are an extension of our family and give us great peace of mind that Mam is in their care.
Today, when I visited, I was in awe at the fantastic job the staff had done with
regard to her room.
Mam is blind, so she can be a bit messy, but her room today had, had a deep clean, and it was immaculate, even in her drawers and wardrobe. I hope when I need to go into residential care, it has the same high standards and quality of care that my mother receives.

The home did a great job of the Christmas decrotation; it felt just like home. The two ladies on Xmas morning were absolutely wonderful. Mam looked great, and I am sure she had a wonderful day. Thank you to everyone at Orchard Mews.

Orchard Mews looked after our Mum from June 2021 until her death in September 2022.
The care she received during her time at Orchard Mews was second to none. The staff who looked after her were amazing.
Towards the end of Mum's life she was treated with such dignity, respect and love.
The team at
this home are led from the top by a devoted care home manager. The values she holds are passed down to her staff and its so evident that they really care about the people they look after.
In the last days of Mum's life we, as a family, were supported and looked after so well too.
We cannot thank them enough for their care, support and love to our Mum and ourselves.

My mam recently passed away after spending the last two years of her life in Orchard Mews. Right from the start, we just knew she was in the right place - it was;t a care home, it was her home.
These few words aren't and never will be enough to try and describe how grateful we were for her care right
up to the very end. Every member of staff says they are just doing their jobs! That's rubbish! They all go above and beyond just doing their jobs! We can never thank them enough. The team at Orchard are second to none.

The manager and the team have been fantastic settling my mother into her new residence. The place is spotlessly clean staff seem happy.
Although I know my mum is keen to get out on activities the manager is really trying to make this happen. So far so good at Orchard Mews and I really hope my mum

This is a care home that really does care. Each resident is treated as an individual, and every member of staff, from the manager down, is excellent at meeting the needs and caring for all. The home has a lovely, friendly feel, much laughter. After bad experiences elsewhere, our family now knows that

The care that your loved one is given when they are dying is as important as when they are healthy and enjoying life. My nana was not in the care of the home for very long when she needed end of life care. The respect and genuine understanding of the manager and her team for what my nana needed, and
also what we needed, during this time was amazing and helped us through the most difficult of times. This is a home ran by a team that is both highly professional but also very human. I wish my nana had longer living at this wonderful home. I am so grateful that she was able to spend her last days being looked after here with her family beside her.

At this moment in time due to the pandemic that we are all living with, it is difficult to give a full review of Orchard Mews, because we as family members are not allowed into the building. But what I can say is that my mother started her stay at Orchard Mews at the beginning of June 2021, she was
introduced to and made welcome by the staff and managers straight away, shown around and saw a room that was available to her. This put her at ease and made her transition into care as helpful and painless as possible. After having to quarantine for two weeks my mam has said that she is happy to be there, which give us as family, peace of mind that she is being looked after.

My mother in law was discharged into Orchard Mews following a long hospital admission. The staff have been fantastic, they have been very supportive throughout. The manager has gone above and beyond to help my mother in law settle in. All of the staff have been very caring, supportive and professional.
The nursing assistants have also been fantastic. The staff are amazing and very caring throughout.

My mum was discharged from hospital to Orchard Mews Care Home as Covid-19 had caused havoc with her health and left her unable to care for herself, needing 24-hour care. The staff have been excellent, the manager could not do enough to ensure mum settled safely into her new home, she has been continuously
been very supportive- staying above her leaving time on several occasions when mom was unwell. The entire care home has been fantastic- very caring and supportive with mum and our entire family. Massive thank you to the manager and her carers.

I went to Orchard Mews on 13/04/2021 to visit my mam, we had a lovely time we sat in the sunshine for 45 mins and my mam thought it was wonderful as she had not been outside for over a year. The staff at Orchard Mews are so incredible for they have gone beyond their duties for the residents. From the
Manager to all the staff I think they are great we are going to visit our mam on 20/04/2021 outside and we can't wait as it been a long time since all three of us have been together. Now just waiting until we can take her out for the day. Once again I must say we are so happy with the staff I would recommend this home to anyone.
